2020: Commissioning of communication for IoT
On March 10, 2020 the Center 2M company announced TAdviser commissioning of the communication network according to the Order of Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation No. 258 "About the approval of Requirements to an order of input of networks of telecommunication in operation".
During 2019 the company working on a business model of virtual mobile operator Full MVNO successfully carried out upgrade of the IT infrastructure, having updated the equipment of the signal domain and a package core of a node of mobile communication in Moscow. Input of network in operation allows to provide Center 2M commercial communication services of M2M and IoT in all territory of the Russian Federation, in accordance with the terms to the license PRTS No. 143995.
For March, 2020 we provide all range of telecommunication services in the field of industrial Internet of Things (Internet Of Things, IoT) only for legal entities. We use the network as for mobile data transmission between smart devices (M2M), and and as a "transport" part of software solutions of own development Center 2M in certain industries for digitalization of the Russian economy, speaks the technical director Center 2M Dmitry Elansky

According to the company, by 2025 the number of IoT/M2M-devices in Russia will grow to 40.8 million. At the same time, such segments as transport, housing and public utilities and power will still remain the most capacious. So, according to forecasts of analysts it is expected that the domestic market of monitoring and control of commercial vehicle fleet will grow in the next 5 years more than twice: from 8 million devices in 2019 up to 18.5 million - in 2025. Market potential of IoT-devices for housing and public utilities and power is estimated at 7.5 million units that became possible thanks to obligatory implementation of smart metering technology (intellectual electricity metering) and SmartGrid technologies ("smart" networks).
