The Cloudmark company announced the new version of means of filtering of electronic correspondence which can be used in combination with such e-mail clients as Outlook Outlook Express, Thunderbird 3, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. The software earlier known as Cloudmark Desktop, bears the name Cloudmark DesktopOne now.
In the product DesktopOne restriction for quantity of the mailboxes subjected to continuous monitoring is introduced. The free version can be used for service no more than one account IMAP, POP or web mails and also allows to use only one folder for storage of spam. In the professional version of Cloudmark Pro these restrictions are absent, besides, additional functions are provided.
For filtering of client correspondence in DesktopOne the patent Fingerprint technology is used. A key component of a system is the online database with the addresses of not credible senders. Information in base is updated every time when the user notes the received e-mail as spam or announces attempt of a phishing.
Cloudmark DesktopOne supports 32-bit and 64-bit versions of operating systems Windows Vista and Windows 7 and also can work under management Windows XP and Windows 2000.
