2020: Announcement of the platform
On July 7, 2020 Sberbank announced the platform for the analysis of productivity in agriculture of Cognitive Sber Agro Analyst (CSAA). It is created by joint venture of the State Bank and Cognitive Technologies Cognitive Pilot company.
The new technology as developers say, will allow to collect data on productivity, a status of cultures, operation modes of agricultural machinery, fuel consumption and other statistics.
The cloud platform Telematics from Sberbank-Telecom company and also the Cognitive Agro Pilot complex representing a set of sensors (video cameras, radars which number depends on a specific objective), the monitor, computing block and connection cables is composition.
According to creators of a product, it will allow to save up to 30% of expenses of the agroenterprise due to reduction of inappropriate costs, the analysis of problem zones, ensuring complex control and increase in efficiency and transparency agricultural - business processes.
In the press release it is noted that use of technologies of computer vision unlike use of GPS- of navigation will help to collect data of other quality. It and control of traffic safety with a possibility of further report generation and monitorings on traffic safety of agricultural machinery, maintenance of operation modes, optimal from this point of view. Besides, the systems of computer vision allow to interpret absolutely correctly this or that situation and to transfer exact data on this or that process to a cloud platform. For example, when the harvester of the combine did not take the essential area of culture, a "blind" system, as a rule, perceives a situation as the worker, only with the smaller input data corresponding to the area of culture which is passed by the combine operator.
The beginning of trial operation of the joint solution is planned for July, 2020 in the territory of the Moscow region.[1]
