In St. Petersburg, the registry office launched its chat bot. The committee announced this on April 25, 2024.

The bot is available in Telegram, with its help you can get acquainted with the full information about the services and work of the municipal registry office.

The chatbot menu consists of five sections - "Service Information," "Operating Mode of the Office/Registry Office," "Important Information," "State Duty," and a search for the nearest registry office by geoposition is available.

When you go to the "Service Information" section, the user will be able to select the desired information. The chatbot will tell you in detail how to obtain a child's birth certificate, what you need to prepare for the conclusion or dissolution of a marriage, registration of death or receiving other certificates and repeated documents.

At the next stage, the chatbot will introduce the procedure for providing the selected service. For example, by clicking on the section "Marriage," a citizen will find out what documents need to be prepared to submit an application, as well as where the nearest registry office is located and what rules of conduct are established in it.

In the section "Mode of operation of the O/registry office" you can get acquainted with the schedule of work of the wedding palaces, the palace of the solemn registration of the birth of "Malyutka," the department of the departmental archive and apostille, the department of death registration, as well as the district departments of the registry office. The "State Duty" section includes information on the amount of state duties, details, the option of payment through the service FTS and the application form for the return of the paid duty.

Finally, in the Important Information section, the bot displays up-to-date data on changes in the work of institutions. In the future, the chatbot "Committee for Registry Office Affairs of St. Petersburg" will continue to develop and will be supplemented with new functions.
