Crosstech Endpoint Device Manager is a Russian development designed to centrally monitor and manage a vast fleet of devices that includes tens of thousands of jobs.

2025: Red OS Compatibility

Crosstech Solutions Group has confirmed the compatibility and correctness of the Crosstech Endpoint Device Management product with the current versions of the Red OS system. Crosstech announced this on February 26, 2025.

The operating system can be used as the main one for the deployment of the CEDM server part on it, and also supports the installation of the management agent. Based on the test results, a two-sided compatibility certificate was issued.

Developing the CEDM product, we focus on customer requirements. Under the legislation, state-owned companies and large industrial enterprises are required to use domestic software. Compatibility version 3.3.16with Alt Workstation 10

The Alt Workstation 10 operating system has been confirmed to be compatible with the Crosstech Endpoint Device Management (CEDM) network centralized control and administration system. This was announced by Crosstech Solutions Group (Crosstech Solutions Group) on October 8, 2024.

Tests conducted by CrossTech Solutions Group (CTSG) confirmed that the use of CEDM Desktop Agent 3.3.16 on Alt Workstation 10 devices increases the security of the corporate IT infrastructure without compromising performance. Based on the test results, a two-sided compatibility certificate was issued.

On March 26, 2024, Crosstech Solutions Group announced the launch of the Crosstech Endpoint Device Manager (CEDM) product. Unified Endpoint Management enables organizations to protect a wide range of employee devices while managing the lifecycle of those devices.

According to the company, the main goal of the solution is to reduce maintenance costs, ensure protection and form recommendations aimed at optimizing the quality of the company's IT services and the level of security of the user IT infrastructure. Accounting and automation of operational tasks for infrastructure maintenance, support for users working remotely and ensuring protection by monitoring the security settings of operating systems reduce the number of information security incidents, reduce the likelihood of financial risks of the company. The product is focused on supporting a heterogeneous environment, where, in addition to Windows devices, there are also operating systems from Russian manufacturers.

The system solves issues that the customer may encounter, for example, searching and inventory devices in the company, ensuring the security and compliance of devices with the requirements of standards, replicating applications and configurations on user computers and remote workplaces, providing a centralized automation tool when switching to Russian operating systems. The product provides management of workstations that are located not only in company offices, but also work remotely.

The creation of solutions has become possible thanks to the increase in technical specialists of Crosstech Solutions Group.

To optimize efficiency, the company created centers of competence for product development and the result of this work was the sale of CEDM. A feature of this approach is the accumulation of own development, testing, DevOps engineers, analysts and architects inside these centers.
