2025: Publication on RuStore and Google Play

Mobile signature app CryptoKey is published on RuStore and Google Play. Crypto-Missile Crypto-Pro reported this on July 15, 2025.

The decision replaced myDSS 2.0, built on the basis of the KryptoPro Klyuch PAC, which received a certificate of conformity from the FSB of Russia, and has a number of significant advantages.

Electronic signature security is ensured by the technology of distributed storage and use of keys. User keys are stored in a distributed form between the server and the mobile application. Neither the client nor the server part of the system will sign the document on their own, without interaction with each other. Even if a smartphone is stolen or lost, attackers will not gain access to electronic signature keys.

Mobile application CryptoKey can work with hardware media (USB tokens and smart cards), just bring the device to a smartphone with NFC or connect it to the phone with a wire. The list of supported media is expanded and additional features are added.

Now registration of the user's profile in the application is possible not only by QR code and alias, which requires additional actions by the certification center, but also in automatic mode using a token or smart card, as well as on any other existing user certificate.

KryptoKlyuch also allows you to sign an application for the issuance of a certificate of an existing qualified EP in accordance with the rules for identifying the applicant by 63-FZ.

Soon, with the help of CryptoKlyuch, it will be possible to issue certificates of unqualified electronic signature (NEP) using Public services and qualified electronic signature (KEP) with identification through the Unified Biometric System.

Access to the application by a large number of users makes it possible to create many convenient and secure services for citizens and businesses on the basis of CryptoKey technologies, as well as simplify and automate the work of certification centers. The Comprehensive Developer Toolkit (SDK) allows you to use the functionality of the CryptoKey in your own mobile applications of certification centers, credit and other organizations.

With the help of CryptoKey technologies, certification centers will be able not only to issue certificates of EP of individuals, but also to implement the issuance of certificates and work with qualified EP of legal entities in mobile applications.

2024: Name change to "CryptoKlyuch"

SafeTech and Crypto-PRO on October 29, 2024 announced the rebranding of a joint solution for a qualified electronic signature from the My Key smartphone. The product will be called "CryptoKey."

"CryptoKey" is a mobile application that allows users to simply, conveniently and as safely as possible sign documents with an electronic signature from their smartphone.

The product is a joint development of CryptoPro and SafeTech, built on the basis of the CryptoPro Key software complex and the PayControl electronic transaction confirmation tool.

CryptoKlyuch implements a two-way signature scheme - neither the client nor the server part of the system can sign the document on their own, without interaction with the second party. This makes it possible to create convenient and secure digital services for citizens, businesses and the state.

The name "CryptoKey" reflects the manufacturability of the solution and focuses on cryptographic features, so that the user understands that this application can really be trusted.

The previous name misled users by associating not with cryptographic electronic signature keys, but with any others, such as those we carry with us in our pockets. It was easy to confuse it with an application for a smart home or with a service for buying or renting real estate, "said Daria Verestnikova, commercial director of SafeTech.
