Dell Cloudera Hadoop

Dell updated the solution Dell Cloudera Hadoop. Now the solution supports the latest version of a service package of Cloudera Enterprise that will help customers to optimize process of deployment of the Hadoop environments, the press service of the company reported on August 2, 2013.

Using the updated solution, customers will be able to make interactive requests of SQL in real time and to start batch processing in Hadoop, simplifying thereby data acquisition from the Hadoop environments.

Implementation of opportunities

To give to the organizations an opportunity of the choice of solutions for Hadoop, Dell held testing and certified the Intel Distribution system for Apache Hadoop on the Dell PowerEdge servers. Specialists of the centers of the solutions Dell Solution Center checked reference architecture and developed a technical guidance which helps to simplify implementation Intel of Distribution on the Dell platform. For optimization of the solutions selected by the customer the Dell corporation helps to project systems and to test them in own expert centers (Dell Solution Center).

Dell few earlier submitted two updated software products, Hadoop infrastructures intended for support. The new version of software of SharePlex allows customers to copy data from Oracle directly in Hadoop, and advanced functionality of software of Kitenga Analytics opens additional opportunities and helps the organizations to understand and analyze better the data stored in Hadoop.
