Dentaltap Patient Electronic Signature

DentalCloud announced on August 19, 2021 that the Dentaltap dentistry program has added the ability to sign documents with an electronic signature. Now the patient will be able to sign documents with a stylus on a tablet when visiting the clinic, and the clinic will partially abandon the paper document flow with the patient. Document and patient data are linked to the signature.

Dentaltap Patient Electronic Signature

The implementation of the signature meets international requirements - UETA, and E-Sign, as well as be accepted as a simple digital signature in the interpretation of Russian legislation. To do this, the clinic must include the signing process in its electronic document management regulations, and the patient must accept these conditions.

List of patient expectations on the calendar

DentalCloud on August 18, 2021 announced the release of a large update to the Dentaltap dentistry program. Improvements affected working with the calendar, tasks, rights and user roles.

List of patient expectations on the calendar

Calendar - a list of patient expectations, new statuses and visit parameters appeared. A waiting list is a buffer to which you can move an already created visit from the calendar and reassign it to a new time. You can create a non-time bound visit in the buffer. The tool will help clinic administrators and coordinators manage patient visits more flexibly. In the updated version, the calendar has added the ability to manage the visit time slots, adding time to prepare the cabinets before and after the reception.

Tasks - In the updated version, employees will be able to manage not only the execution, but also confirm the time and status of the start of the task. The new status of the task will be seen by the manager and this will improve the quality of collaboration and communication between employees.

User Roles and Rights - This section completely changes the way you create a new user. Now the user can independently assign an arbitrary role and attach the necessary access rights to the data and functions of the program to it.

Launch Patient Portal

DentalCloud on October 20, 2020 announced the launch of the patient portal for its cloud-based dentistry automation solution Dentaltap. The portal is implemented in the form of a patient's mobile application and will help dental clinics and a practicing dentist to make the patient closer, increase his loyalty and open the patient's data on treatment.

The portal's capabilities include a patient's personal account and a loyalty program built on virality and on the return of amounts paid by the patient for admission. The personal account will help the patient see the state of the oral cavity, his medical history and visits, balance, the current price list of the clinic and will make it possible to make an appointment through the online appointment form or chat with the clinic staff.

The idea of creating a patient portal came from our clients who understand all the values of multi-channel communications and increasing patient loyalty, emphasizes the partner of Dental Cloud,. Alexey Kalachnikov- Next, we plan to turn the patient's personal account into a full-fledged tool telemedicine in dentistry.

Add an automated periodontal map

On June 29, 2020, DentalCloud announced that an important tool for the work of a periodontologist, an automated periodontal card, has been added to the Dentaltap dentistry program. The map is designed to diagnose the condition of the tissues surrounding the teeth (periodontal tissues).

Add an automated periodontal map

The results of the periodontal chart, combined with the radiological examination, help the periodontologist to make an accurate prognosis for each tooth and to prescribe an individual treatment plan to the patient. An important advantage of the Dentaltap map is the dynamic observations of periodontal status - the results of examinations can be compared at intervals after the start of treatment.

Map functionality - tracking and monitoring the periodontal status by parameters:

  • Mobility (0-3).
  • Furcation (0-3).
  • Bleeding during probing.
  • Presence of dental deposits.
  • Gingival margin.
  • Depth of probing.

The card can be printed and sent to colleagues or the patient for review. The card is available in a free Dentaltap subscription plan.

Dentaltap Ionic announcement

Dental Cloud on May 19, 2020 introduced the Dentaltap dentistry program version of Ionic, in which the design and UX applications are completely redesigned and adapted to work on mobile devices.

Dentaltap Ionic

In Dentaltap, Ionic was created with a serverless architecture (FaaS - Function-as-a-Service) and the use of WebSocket technology. As a result of this implementation, the program began to work in real time, and when working together, data updates occur without updating the application/browser page by users.

The presented version of Dentaltap is focused on all segments of dentistry and team collaboration and it retains a free subscription.

Integration with Medit Link

On August 19, 2019, DentalCloud announced that it had agreed with South Korean company Medit on a strategic partnership to integrate its solutions. As part of the partnership, DentalTap's cloud-based dental automation program will be integrated with the Medit Link platform, which allows not only to manage the i500 scanner, but also provides space for doctors and laboratories to work together, manage all digital dentistry processes. The second direction of the partnership will be the placement of DentalTap in the developing store of applications for dentistry Medit Link.

The integration of solutions will optimize the digital dentistry of users through seamless data exchange between company solutions and reduce the cost of product ownership for dental clinics - for users there will be special delivery prices for the DentalTap service.

Adding Tooltips

On April 5, 2019, it was reported that tips had been added to DentalTap.

DentalTap

The DentalTap cloud service is a complex product consisting of several sections of physician practice management and clinic management:

  • office tasks,
  • treatment
  • communications.

The project team, understanding the complexity of their product, has developed a prompt system that will help you start working with the service on registration day and save on training clinic administrators, assistants and doctors.

Tooltips are made in the form of pop-up windows describing the main features of the program. All windows are launched the first time you enter the program, and the first time you select a specific section, a section hint is displayed. In addition to text descriptions, tooltips contain a link to the knowledge base. Hints are localized to all basic languages used in the DentalTap cloud.

According to the team, the prompts will greatly simplify the use of DentalTap by users, reduce the number of calls to the support service and make the work comfortable.

Material Accounting Functionality

On November 2, 2018, DentalCloud announced that material accounting functionality had appeared in the DentalTap service.

As a result, the updated service can now provide:

  • Storage of information about materials in the format - code/item, name, price, minimum unit, warehouse.
  • Material accounting for each of the stores is the maintenance of several warehouses.
  • Quickly add new materials.
  • Automatic write-off of materials for performed procedures.

In the near future, DentalCloud also intends to implement material analytics in DentalTap.

Update Workspace

On October 4, 2018, DentalCloud announced that a service update had been released that affected a key work space - the patient's map. Working with the map and with the service as a whole has become more convenient, easier and faster.

Updated workspace

In the updated patient chart:

  • Changed UX, in which the Patient Card is divided into two functional work areas - on the left, administrative functions - profile, tasks, documents, and on the right - treatment, dental formula, files, treatment diary and bills.
  • The logic of working with treatment has been improved. The presented version clearly shows the status of treatment - how many procedures have been done and how many procedures remain to be done.
  • Added the ability to fill in maps according to templates. All notes have become tied to the patient's visits and their content can be filled in through templates.
  • The download speed of the service pages has been significantly increased.
  • The system functions of printing and deleting the patient's map are left in the horizontal menu.

The DentalTap version implements the concept of a single page application, in which patient information is stored on one page and which is not updated when working with the page functionality. As a result, work with the key functionality of the service has been simplified, built-in additional functionality has appeared in one workspace and the speed of DentaTap has been optimized.

Collaboration and access rights in DentalTap

On October 1, 2018, DentalCloud announced that the DentalTap automation service has implemented another model of collaboration and administration of access rights.

According to the company, the approach implements the principle of two-level setting of rights. The first level is the settings for working with the patient's card and basic functionality, the second is the permission to work with the patient's card.

DentalTap

Functionality of settings:

  • Invite employees to subscribe by email.
  • Configure the user's rights to work with the patient's card.
  • Employee role assignment templates - manager, doctor, administrator.
  • Manually configure user roles.
  • Setting the rights to the rest of the basic functionality in the general settings.
  • Allow the user to work with this patient.

The results of the implementation of the mechanism for configuring access rights and collaboration:

  • The patient base demarcated between specialists.
  • Organization of joint work by employees of clinics and medical practitioners.
  • Restriction to the main functionality of the service through access to the patient's card.
  • Implementation of virality through automatic creation of an additional subscription.
  • Product versatility for private physicians and clinics.
  • Simplifying the access rights configuration process and logic.

Advantages of the approach:

  • Ease of setup.
  • Collaborate with external employees.
  • Delineation of access to the patient database.

Launching DentalTap Click

On July 11, 2018, DentalCloud announced the launch of the DentalTap Click solution, which is designed to organize legally significant document management between dental clinics and insurance companies.

The solution includes a systematic catalog of dental services codes (an analogue of the American Dental Association), a protocol and data format for counterparty interaction SDK , for developers, ON auxiliary tools for insurance API and for integration with certification centers.

As noted in DentalCloud, for a doctor Click is part of the functionality and UX of the DentalTap service, and for an insurance company - a platform on which it can integrate the capabilities of the solution into its accounting systems on its own.

According to Yaroslav Osetrov, CEO of DentalCloud, with the help of DentalTap Click, doctors will be able to draw up treatment plans and immediately receive information about the patient's insurance plan, which will reduce the volume of paper paperwork between insurance companies and dental clinics. In turn, patients will know which clinics they can contact to receive insurance services.

DentalTap Click is planned to be monetized according to the pay as you go model - the insurance company will pay for requests for insurance claims by doctors. For dentists, the functionality will be free as part of a subscription to DentalTap, specified in DentalCloud.

Combining DentalTap One and DentalTap Pho

DentalCloud, a developer of cloud services for dentistry, announced on July 2, 2018 that it was combining products for doctors - DentalTap One and DentalTap Pho clinics. Since July 2018, the service has been sold under the single name DentalTap.

File:Aquote1.png
In fact, the Pho version for clinics duplicated all the capabilities of the younger version for dentists. After finalizing the roles of employees in it, it made no sense to support two products, - explained the changes to the CEO of the company Yaroslav Osetrov. - Against the background of the fact that the architecture of the services was different, all users were provided with a free data transfer service.
File:Aquote2.png

In general, DentalTap is a cloud-based dental automation service for doctors and clinic administrators to work together. The platform solves the tasks of automating the clinic office, treatment and communication with patients.

Possibility of branch clinics automation

In March 2018, DentalCloud introduced the next version of the DentalTap cloud service.

The DentalTap service is complemented by the ability to automate in one (license) several branches of the dental clinic. All branches in this version will work with one database, which will allow you to scale the branch structure business through the purchase of additional licenses for employees' workplaces, while connecting the branch will take several hours.

DentalTap, Spring Update, 2018

In the presented version, the administrator will be able to work only with the branch calendar and/or with several/at once with all calendars of the clinic. The flexibility of the calendar settings will help branch clinics to quickly change the model of the clinic:

  • one administrator will be able to serve multiple branches or help colleagues "on demand."
  • employees of a clinic in which work with patients is carried out through a common call center will be able to

Access calendars for all branches.

The update optimizes the calendar itself, which has become the employee's main workspace - in the presented version, the calendar contains notes, accounts, scheduled tasks, work schedule and repeated visits.

Calendar navigation is optimized: each specialist (dentist) is assigned a different color of cells, and the administrator can immediately distinguish records to a specific doctor and his work schedule.

2017

Autumn Pho Version Update for Clinics

On November 22, 2017, DentalCloud introduced the next version of the DentalTap Pho service, which was the next step in the development of the company's product line for dentistry.

The updated version of Pho focuses on dental offices and clinics, but can be used by practicing doctors in their solo practice.

DentalTap Calendar

Major Pho version changes:

  • Added clinic administrator role.
  • The approach to licensing workplaces has changed - each account user is assigned the role (access rights are configured) of an administrator or doctor.
  • The collaboration of the work has become end-to-end and is built around a common Calendar, to which all clinic employees have access and can change.
  • The calendar has become a full-fledged control element in which you can work with visits, tasks, finances. All employees have access to personal and general calendars.
  • Added non-doctor-linked virtual offices to Calendar.
  • Collaboration tools have been changed - a doctor can invite a colleague who does not work in the clinic through a guest account or include an employee from the staffing list in the treatment plan.
  • Much attention in the new version is paid to Tasks that have become possible to delegate to colleagues and track the status of execution.
  • End-to-end search by patient, task, and tag added.
  • The functionality of reports and analytics that can be printed has been expanded.

The Pho version retains an architectural approach to automation - the service implements three modules: treatment, business and communications. A free tariff has also been saved, in which all the possibilities of the service for one doctor are available with a base limit of up to 100 patients and the size of the downloaded file up to 10 Megabytes.

The functionality of the updated version can be fully used by both clinics and doctors in their practice, which is important for the penetration of cloud automation into the medical sphere and the transition to telemedicine, the founder of the company Yaroslav Osetrov emphasized.

The company plans to further develop the product, in particular, integration with Internet telephony, online cash registers, other cloud services, the release of a mobile application for doctors and patients. Sales of the Pho version in the Asia-Pacific region are also planned.

Spring free dental service update DentalTap

In the spring, the functionality of working with tasks was added to the service. Now any communication with the patient or treatment procedure can be planned in the form of a convenient ticket (task) on the desktop of the service (dashboard).

The ticket contains information about the patient, a description of the task, actions, procedures and the timing of its execution. All current tasks for the patient are also displayed in his card.

Task types have already been established by action or procedure (type) - call, visit, patient invitation for examination, cleaning, surgery, etc. And when filling in the ticket/task setting, it remains only to select the task type and the time period for which the task is planned from the interval - day, week, month or selection of the exact date.

Tickets solve the most important task facing an office or clinic - this is working with a patient through business processes and planning such work. Now the doctor himself or through the assistant will be able to plan the stages of working with the patient according to his sales funnel (call, reminder of the visit, scheduled examination, etc.) and monitor the implementation of the tasks.

An important point of refinement is to support collaboration - you can assign a task to another doctor in practice.

Added surveys in the update. Surveys are a flexible tool for conducting surveys and questionnaires through the creation of unique forms. Form templates are created in the References section of the program and implemented by adding form elements - question and answer. The answer can be textual and in the form of "choice from options." Examinations are attached and may be performed in a special section of the Patient Card or directly during a patient visit or initial examination.

The updates also affected an important area of dentist practice and the clinic's work - document management. Now the service has the ability to edit documents in the built-in editor, connect document templates, put tags in them for subsequent convenient work on creating new documents through a form that is implemented in the form of a designer and is designed to enter the basic details of documents. The new version of the service has added the possibility of convenient storage of documents and X-rays, which are tied to the unified patient map. It is also possible to unload and print part of standard documents and reports. Improvements will significantly reduce the time for the routine work of the doctor on document management.
