2012

Directum iDecide Documents for iPad 2.0

The DIRECTUM company announced in the summer of 2012 a release of the new version of the solution iDecide Documents for iPad developed in cooperation with Flexis company. The solution significantly expands functionality and considers wishes of a big circle of users and the organizations.

To be focused quickly on tasks, to have necessary information, to quickly make decisions, timely requires to consider and sign documents – all this from the modern head a business environment. In 2011 specialists of Flexis and DIRECTUM companies developed the solution thanks to which users of the DIRECTUM ECM system got access to many functions of an electronic document management system through the mobile iPad tablet and the iDecide application.

The specialized solution of DIRECTUM iDecide Documents for iPad is aimed at increase in efficiency of heads and acceleration of the business processes which are taking place in the company. Today DIRECTUM iDecide Documents for iPad is issued in upgraded version. The solution underwent large modification. So, in version 2.0 scriptability of acquaintance with documents, creations of outgoing tasks and subtasks is included. Functions of work with resolutions and abilities to manage with the entering tasks are expanded. The user interface is significantly processed.

The version of DIRECTUM iDecide Documents for iPad 2.2 is created in cooperation with Flexis company.

In the course of creation of new mobile version of the application, partners paid much attention to ensuring support of DIRECTUM of version 4.9.1, simplification of deployment and setup of the solution which release creates a new basis for development of mobile applications on the platform of the DIRECTUM system. Therefore in version 2.2 of technical solution of DIRECTUM iDecide Documents for iPad support of DIRECTUM and the updated module Office is included.

"Starting development of version 2.2 of the solution, we set the object to provide support of DIRECTUM of version 4.9.1, stability of work of a server part, – Maxim Galimov, the director of the perspective researches DIRECTUM noted. – It was important to us to make an easy and convenient way of administration of a server part. New: the facilitated installation

In version 2.2 consecutive installation of all server part and receiving the working services takes less than ten minutes. It became possible thanks to significant change of the installation program. The uniform installer of the integration iDecide server and DIRECTUM web service for iDecide allows to start the general installation process. The uniform configurator of a server part is started automatically after installation and allows in a convenient and evident type to set up the solution and parameters of the applied modules integrated with it. The ready configuration developed after installation corresponds to all parameters of a system by default. It allows to lower considerably number of the options requiring setup.

Directum iDecide Documents for iPad 2.3

In the version of Directum iDecide Documents for iPad 2.3 the possibility of removal of several instructions according to one document appeared. Earlier it was implemented in the module Office of the DIRECTUM 4.9.1 system. Now for each incoming document it is possible to specify individual cast, the controller and term. Users estimated convenience and advantages of this solution. Also it became possible to continue to download documents after break of connection and to carry out tasks at unforeseen change of a communication channel (for example, with Wi-Fi on 3G and vice versa). All this allows to save traffic and to get timely to work.

2015

The Russian company "Aydesayd" specializing in development of IT solutions for upper managers announced an exit in January, 2015 of upgraded versions of mobile applications on the iDecide Documents platform for electronic document management systems.

The iDecide Documents platform is developed especially for upper managers for whom convenient remote work with electronic document management systems is necessary. iDecide Documents as much as possible brings closer work with electronic documents to style of work with paper.

Updates concerned two mobile clients for work with the most widespread in Russia EDMS – iDecide Documents for DIRECTUM 2.5.2 iDecide Documents for EOS 2.5.2. The service pack was implemented in January, 2015 and considered all user queries connected with increase in convenience of work with the application and its stability.

In the updated iDecide Documents functions of work with multiple resolutions are improved, there was an opportunity to appoint additional responsible persons to already appointed, demonstration of the Category field in the form of creation of a task or the resolution is configured and also the possibility of setup of automatic transition to the only draft resolution on clicking of the Solution button is provided.
