2024: E-Power UPS Series Announcement

On March 5, 2024, EKF introduced the E-Power series of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), which includes a range of devices in the power range from 400 W to 30 kW, both in the mass segment of consumption and in the infrastructure segment.

EKF PSW600

According to the company, the scope of use of UPS from EKF is wide - from the protection of household and office equipment, boilers and circulation pumps of heating systems to server equipment, data storage systems, data centers, security systems, calculation systems of banks, scientific devices and equipment, medical and laboratory equipment, etc.

E-Power UPS from EKF is the protection of equipment against the main threats of the power grid, such as low or high voltage, voltage shape distortions and interference in the external power grid, short-term dips or voltage surges, high-voltage pulses. All this will not adversely affect the operation of the equipment when using E-Power power systems.

In the mass segment, the E-Power series is represented by two lines: linear-interactive UPS with an approximated sinusoid E-Power SSW-200 and E-Power Nome.

  • The SSW 200 line has a standard Tower design, 800, 1200, 1500, 2000 and 3000 VA power series, Schuko outlet outlets and LCD display.
  • The Nome line is made in a "flat" version and is represented by two models with a capacity of 800 and 1000 VA, with six and eight Schuko outlet outlets, respectively.

The main purpose of these UPSs is to protect personal computers, household appliances (without electric motors in its composition), workstations, office equipment.

In the corporate segment, EKF offers 2 lines: linear-interactive UPS PSW600 and PSW-H, but with a pure sinusoid at the output, and a line of double-conversion SW900Pro. The scope of UPS is data quite wide: gas boilers, personal computers, office equipment, servers low-power, medical equipment security systems, video control systems and other low-power critical consumers.

  • The PSW600 models are made in versions: with a built-in battery, without a battery and for mounting in a rack - Tower. Power range: 1000, 2000 and 3000 VA. These models have become a compromise alternative to online UPS in this segment.
  • PSW-H models are more in demand in the private segment and are designed to work exclusively with external batteries. These UPSs have a powerful charger and a battery switching circuit breaker. Power range: 300, 600, 1000, 1600, 2500, 3500 VA.
  • Models of the SW900Pro line are also available in Tower versions and the universal RT (Rack Tower) case, with built-in batteries and without batteries. Power row 1000, 2000, 3000 VA.

In the infrastructure segment, EKF offers three series of UPSs: single-phase E-Power SW900G4, E-Power SW800 and three-phase E-Power SW900Pro-G5.

Single-phase:

  • The E-Power SW900G4 UPS is available in two versions - Tower and universal RT, with built-in batteries or for working with external battery arrays. It is also planned to release a model with an integrated load distribution system. A number of capacities 6, 10, 20 kVA/kW. At the same time, 10 kW models can be delivered in both 1 in 1 and 3 in 1 configurations (3 phases at the input, one at the output), and the 20 kW model is presented only in the 3 in 1 option.
  • The E-Power SW800 Tower UPS is a model with a decoupling transformer at the output. UPS is built according to the 3 in 1 scheme, with a capacity of 10, 15, 20.30 kVA.

Three-phase UPSs in the company's portfolio are represented by the E-Power SW900pro- G5 line. The range includes devices:

  • tower design with built-in battery,
  • for operation with external batteries,
  • with isolating output transformers,
  • in RT housing for operation with external batteries.
