2017: Dell EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud came to VxRail

On February 21, 2017 announced Dell EMC the beginning of deliveries of the platform for a hybrid cloud of Enterprise Hybrid Cloud (EHC) on Dell EMC VxRail devices.

The technological solution Dell EMC EHC on VxRail devices gives the chance to customers to begin with a small configuration and to increase it in process of growth of needs for services of a hybrid cloud^[1].

The organizations actively pass to models of a hybrid cloud and wait that we will help them to unroll and administer these Wednesdays. And it inevitably assumes several cloud stacks, cross-cloud technologies and a combination of different remote and local cloud environments. Hyper convergent infrastructure quickly proved the efficiency for the main workloads of DPC and becomes a preferred solution for a local component of a hybrid cloud. Completely integrated, previously configured and tested devices of the Dell EMC VxRail family — the hyper convergent infrastructure in a device form factor working for VMware of vSAN is also developed together with VMware.

EHC on VxRail devices provides to customers the ready hybrid cloud optimized for installation from 200 to 1 thousand virtual machines, providing:

• the platform optimized for a small number of VM
• the simplified and automated installation of a program stack Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Enterprise on VxRail devices;
• support on the basis of a subscription to professional services.

The release of Dell EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud on Dell EMC VxRail devices is planned for March 31, 2017.

2014: EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud

EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud is a hybrid cloud for integration of the equipment, software and services EMC and VMware where strengths of private and public clouds are integrated.

On November 5, 2014 EMC announced release of the solution EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud. From this day it is available to the order.

The hybrid cloud of EMC helps to integrate the equipment, software and services EMC and VMware. At the same time transition to the IT as Service model takes 28 days. The solution EMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud is created as the simple and automated tool providing resources as required.
