2018: Alice-enabled KidPhone 3G

In Elari KidPhone 3G, Alice is more than a voice assistant. She becomes a child's partner in games and an academic assistant. Alice is ready to answer tricky children's questions, knows how to solve mathematical problems, play cities, words, "Zoology," "Guess a song" and other games, make riddles, joke, tell fairy tales and much more. These abilities of Alice are specially modified for use in children's watches: the Yandex team taught Alice to better understand children's speech and bring only the content that suits them to the children.

It is planned that in the coming months, thanks to the open platform Yandex. Dialogs, the range of Alice's skills in terms of children's development will expand. Elari and other Yandex partners are already developing similar skills specifically for KidPhone 3G.

In addition to Alice, Elari KidPhone 3G has important communication and security features - the watch is fully controlled from parents' smartphones through the Elari SafeFamily app, supports voice and video calls, and its location and movement history can be seen at any time thanks to GPS/Wi-Fi/LBS tracking. A child can call contacts allowed by parents, as well as arrange a video chat with them - including with friends who have the same smartchases. For the duration of classes or quiet hours, parents can remotely switch the clock to the "In class" mode, and in case of an emergency, the child can use the SOS alarm button, notifying all adults "subscribed" to it at once.

Alice has long stepped beyond the search application, lives in other Yandex services and even found her own home in Yandex.Station, and thanks to the Yandex IO platform, it will soon appear in many other devices. Alice's integration into the Elari smartwatch is another step towards making everyday communication with technology easier, but this time for the most important audience of children in a format convenient for them and their parents.
