2023: Start of production
The production of the Russian electric crossover Evolute i-Sky has begun. This was announced in the Lipetsk company Motorinvest (produces cars under the Evolute brand) on November 16, 2023.
According to Interfax, citing the press service of the enterprise, Evolute i-Sky is equipped with an electric engine with a capacity of 204 hp. Without additional charging, the electric car is able to overcome 511 km on the WLTP cycle and reach speeds of up to 180 km/h. Using a fast charging system, you can replenish the battery supply to 80% in 45 minutes.
The i-Sky has LED optics, heated front and rear seats, and the driver's seat has ventilation and massage functions. Six airbags are responsible for safety. There are also all-round cameras, a front collision warning system and emergency braking. The list of equipment includes monitoring blind spots, a pedestrian recognition system and a standard video recorder. In addition, the electric car received a digital dashboard and a 10.25-inch display of the multimedia system.
By mid-November 2023, the cost of Evolve i-Sky is from 4 million rubles, taking into account state support. Before the release of this model, Motorinvest offered two electric vehicles: the i-Pro sedan and the i-Joy crossover. In the nine months of 2023, 1,546 Evolute electric cars were sold.
We slowly saturated the market, probed the market, because i-Pro and i-Joy still found their buyers - these are corporate clients, taxis, car sharing. I must say that very good reviews. These were pilot models, I had to try, see. By the way, a lot goes to ordinary customers at retail, - said Sergey Mamontov, deputy general director of Motorinvest for production.[1] |
