Ezviz RS2 (robot vacuum cleaner)

On May 23, 2023, the company Ezviz announced the release of an innovative robot vacuum cleaner RS2 designed to clean hard and soft flooring as efficiently as possible.

The device is capable of dry and wet cleaning. The developer claims that the device is designed for operation in the most difficult conditions - in rooms with a large amount of furniture and various interior items. The advanced D-ToF LiDar sensor helps to form the optimal route, allowing you to build accurate maps. In addition, the equipment includes a 3K format camera with artificial intelligence algorithms.

Ezviz RS-2

A multifunctional docking station has been created for the vacuum cleaner. The robot can independently install dual rotating mop nozzles whenever it is configured to wash hard floors and automatically detach them if it needs to vacuum the carpet flooring. Moreover, once on the carpet, the device increases the suction power for more efficient dust collection. After the work is completed, the device returns to the base, where it automatically washes and dries the mop, independently removes tangled hair from the roller brush, fills the water tank and charges the battery.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a Wi-Fi adapter with a frequency band of 2.4 GHz. It is possible to control from a smartphone using the Amazon Alexa voice assistant or Google Assistant. Power is provided by a 5200 mA·ch battery, which takes about three hours to fully charge. Battery life varies from 160 to 260 minutes depending on the mode selected. The noise level does not exceed 64 dBA. The water supply in the built-in tanks (including the docking station) is enough for cleaning premises with a total area of ​ ​ up to 300 square meters.
