2020: The closed testing of a neuronet for ophthalmologists

On April 28, 2020 it became known that the development team from Chelyabinsk holds the closed testing of the neuronet for ophthalmologists of AI-Tonometry.

As it was reported, the startup represents the Internet platform for ophthalmologists with access to the automated help of decision making and cloud maintaining history of patients. According to forecasts of developers, in two years of 70% of the Russian ophthalmologists will be able already to use the automated tools for the analysis of results of diagnostics on the basis of machine learning.

The startup of AI-Tonometry integrated four founders at once: in its structure the acting ophthalmologist and the graduate of the Southern Ural State Medical University Dmitry Dorofeyev, the undergraduate of the Southern Ural State University Alexander Gorobets, the graduate of the Southern Ural state technical college Denis Vasilenko and the student of the Chelyabinsk regional multi-profile lyceum nursing home for exceptional children Evgeny Kanafin.

In modern ophthalmology where practically all diagnostic testings are computerized, and doctors should work with a large number of the quantitative data obtained from different devices. And the question of consolidation of these data in one system is particularly acute enough. Dmitry Drofeev, the ophthalmologist and the graduate of the Southern Ural State Medical University told

The platform is created for the aid to ophthalmologists to minimize a human factor in diagnostics, purpose of therapy and to save time for decision making. AI-Tonometry provides access to instruments of measurement of VGD, saves stories of patients, allows to integrate in groups for joint remote work in one clinic or scientific consolidation. For April, 2020 development is at a stage of custdev and passes the closed test in group of 37 specialists. The data obtained during testing will define future development of a startup.

Patients will be able to receive with higher quality and the personalized medical services. Especially it is important for those for whom glaucoma, a retinopathy and another, leading to a blindness diseases is diagnosed. Doctors will be able to correct therapy or the diagnosis, based on the recommendations of treatment of glaucoma of the European glaukomny society. AI-Tonometry has a wide range of possibilities. For experienced specialists and young ophthalmologists it will become the convenient tool providing comprehensive information on the patient with the analysis of results of researches (tonometries, an optical coherent tomography and computer perimetry) and to cloud maintaining history of patients. For the pharmaceutical companies which are engaged in production of medicines there will be an opportunity within a recommendatory system to convey information on medicines to the practicing ophthalmologists.

The project of developers from Chelyabinsk became the participant of the All-Russian tender of technology startups of Kriptonit of Startup Challenge and for April, 2020 applies for an exit in a semi-final.
