2025: The Union of SR-222 performance
Fplus presented a two-seater server Soyuz SR-222 based on the processors fifth generation with support for the fourth. It is designed to solve a large range of business problems that require large computing resources: mining,, data cloud computing working with,,, Big Data HPC artificial intelligence, etc machine learning. The developer announced this on February 4, 2025.
The server was introduced Register of Russian Industrial Products Ministry of Industry and Trade Russia on January 23, 2025 in several versions. He has already passed all the necessary tests and is ready for serial production.
The Union of SR-222 supports up to two Intel Xeon Scalable processors with 64 physical cores per processor, which improves performance by 65% compared to servers on previous generations of processors. It uses DDR5 DIMM RAM up to 5600 MT/s. The backplane allows you to install up to 25 disk drives not only with SAS and SATA connection interfaces, but also NVMe (up to 24 drives), which reduces latency in data processing and analysis.
The server occupies two units in the server rack and is designed to create an infrastructure of increased flexibility and simple scalability in various companies, including from the financial sector, healthcare, telecom operators, GIS, government agencies. Production of Soyuz SR-222 is carried out at Fplus's own plant.
For us, the release of such a product is an important and timely solution, since the market needs high-performance domestic computing technologies. In the next year or two, the demand for such equipment will only grow, as the depreciation period for foreign equipment, which many Russian companies still use, will begin to come to an end. And Fplus is already ready to provide, as an alternative, servers optimized for working with high-performance systems or AI, "said Ilya Levchuk, director of the Fplus industrial hardware and software systems department. |
