Fujitsu Primeflex vShape

Primeflex vShape is the integrated system for data processing centers, it is created on the platform of the normal network and server hardware and components of a storage system optimized for processing of virtual loading.

On August 1, 2016 the Fujitsu company submitted the integrated Primeflex vShape system, it provides for 20% higher performance in comparison with the previous generation. In its osnva the dual-processor Fujitsu Primergy system.

Fujitsu Primergy is created on the basis of a processor family of Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 and memory of DDR4 with support of frequency to 2400 MHz. It is designed for fast processing of production data at the low level of energy consumption. The efficiency of the new systems is increased by cost reduction by the electric power with Cool-safe Advanced Thermal Design technology of Fujitsu company.

Fujitsu offered several options of sets of the integrated system: from 25 virtual machines for solving of tasks of the companies of small and medium business up to 2400 virtual machines for large corporations. Such approach provides "the standardized adaptation" when each customer can quickly implement necessary feature set, having been sure that all components effectively work together.

Depending on business needs of customers, functionality of vShape can adapt in several ways:

• adding of additional disks or shelves for increase in capacity,
• implementation of function of disaster recovery or solution integration for backup in the Eternus CS200c system.
• possibility of the choice of software for virtualization of the companies VMware or Microsoft, products VMware Horizon View or Citrix XenDesktop

The integrated system can be used for implementation of technologies of virtualization and for projects on the basis of private cloud environments. In that case the companies just need to set software for management of VMware vRealize. Primeflex vShape proposes the alternative solution for the enterprises which do not suit universal hyper convergent storage systems.
