Tests of a satellite geodetic system for pilotless agricultural machinery
The Schwabe holding of Rostec State corporation tested the satellite geodetic equipment for control of pilotless agricultural machinery. On November 6, 2019 reported about it to TAdviser in Rostec. According to developers, application of a hardware and software system allows to increase efficiency of agroactions significantly.
According to "Schwabe", tests using specialized tractors sprayers took place in different weather conditions, including in difficult meteoconditions, during a rain and strong wind. During testing of the technician executed all required maneuvers in several control modes, at different speeds and at different distances. Equipment positioning accuracy at the same time did not exceed several centimeters.
Within the project the end-to-end system of control of farm vehicles on the basis of navigation satellite systems which will allow to optimize, in particular, a consumption of fertilizers depending on soil cards of specific section is created. |
During tests work of tractors sprayers was coordinated by means of the base station of RS-2 and the multifrequency satellite MR-8 receiver which are a part of a line of the geodetic Genesis equipment. The Ural Optical & Mechanical Plant of E.S. Yalamov (UOMZ) of Schwabe holding is engaged in release of these products.
For November, 2019 the field controller and the smart terminal also enter Genesis line, in addition to the reference base station and multifrequency satellite receivers. Products support satellite GLONASS systems, Beidou, GPS, Galileo and QZSS and also use a wide number of technologies of communication among which GSM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, VHF.
Entering into the register of trademarks of Rospatent
On January 31, 2019 Schwabe reported that the line of the high-precision satellite geodetic equipment which is released at the Ural enterprise of Schwabe Holding of State Corporation Rostec received the official name Genesis. The name is entered in the register of trademarks and service marks of Federal Service for Intellectual Property.
The Ural Optical & Mechanical Plant of E.S. Yalamov (UOMZ) of Schwabe Holding became the owner of the rights to the order the name Genesis concerning satellite geodetic products in the Russian Federation.
On its production site the line of the high-precision GNSS-equipment is issued: multisystem multifrequency satellite receivers, smart terminal, referentsny station and field controller. Products support all relevant satellite systems, including GLONASS, BEIDOU, GPS, GALILEO and QZSS, the systems of broadband differential correction of SBAS and also use a wide number of technologies of communication among which GSM, Wi-Fi, VHF and others.
The equipment allows to conduct high-precision geodetic works without the need for direct visibility between the next points with a high performance.
The rights to the name Genesis concerning high-precision satellite geodesy – it is undoubted, an important step which will allow to increase recognition of products in the market. In 2019 expansion of a line due to localization of production of new type of the satellite receiver is planned. The device will differ in the improved precision characteristics and the compact size. Besides, it will be equipped with an option of intellectual works monitoring, capable to give voice commands in the course of their accomplishment. Anatoly Sludnykh, CEO of UOMZ
