Release of solutions for data protection in hybrid clouds

On October 4, 2018 the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) company announced release of the solutions HPE StoreOnce for data protection in hybrid clouds and managements of backup. Possibilities of HPE StoreOnce, according to the developer, allow customers to increase efficiency to 95%, to increase backup speed to the cloud storage and to lower storage costs in a cloud up to 20 times.

According to the developer, HPE StoreOnce provides the continuity of business processes of the company using high-speed data protection in data centers. The software of HPE Recovery Manager Central (RMC) 6.0 simplifies protection and data backup of arrays of HPE Nimble Storage and HPE 3PAR. Software integration of HPE StoreOnce with the software of Commvault reduces requirements to network transmission capacity in a cloud.

In a solution package of HPE GreenLake Backup (backup as service, with payment in process of use) the software integration of Commvault and the provided HPE StoreOnce reducing costs to 30% is improved, noted in HPE.

Also in October, 2018 HPE announced a full integration of Commvault technology with the HPE StoreOnce Systems systems, including StoreOnce Catalyst.
