2022: Launch of the Russian online videoconferencing platform for distance learning, meetings and webinars
The Hi-Tech Group of Companies announced on November 7, 2022, the launch of the VKurse project, a Russian online platform for distance learning, meetings and webinars. The main goal of this initiative is to create a universal service that meets the requirements of any organization, and is able to fully ensure the solution of a set of problems in the field of communications. In addition, the VKurse platform can completely replace many well-known foreign services, in particular, Zoom, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, etc., which is especially important in the current situation, when many foreign companies leave the Russian market, thereby depriving millions of people of the usual tools for communication and work that they have used over the past years.
HiTek Group of Hi-Tech has expertise in the development and implementation of solutions in the field of unified communications. Thus, IVA Technologies, one of the group's companies, has been developing its own unified communications platform IVA MCU since 2017, surpassing many similar products of foreign vendors.
This project implements many years of experience and takes into account all current requests of corporate users in the field of online interaction. The universal online platform "VKurse" is designed to become a single communication environment for companies and organizations of any scale and sphere of activity, be it large corporations and holdings, enterprises small and medium-sized businesses, state institutions universities and schools, freelancers and teachers. It is important to note that everything server infrastructure is located on the territory, due Russia to which the maximum safety in the conduct of events is ensured.
The online platform "VKurse" operates around the clock and is able to unite more than 10 thousand listeners and more than 300 video speakers in one event of any format - conferences, webinars, lectures, meetings, seminars, etc. Participants of these meetings have access to the full functionality of traditional video conferencing, as well as event logging (audio-to-text conversion) and simultaneous translation. Access to the service is possible from almost any device, be it a personal computer or laptop (through a browser or desktop application), smartphone or tablet.
The VKurse online platform has become another component of the Russian unified communications ecosystem IVA UC, the creation of which HaiTek has been engaged in since 2017. This is an alternative to the Zoom service in the corporate sector. The VKurse platform provides high-quality services and is not inferior in its functionality to foreign counterparts. At the same time, it is physically deployed in Russian data centers and therefore is not subject to sanctions risks, which is a very large feature, noted Yuri Matveev, General Director of VKurse.
