The AITO brand was founded in 2021 by Huawei and Seres (Sokon), it specializes in the production of premium electric vehicles and hybrids. As part of the partnership, Seres is engaged in the production of cars, and Huawei provides vehicles with digital technologies, including the Harmony OS operating system.
Aito M5 - developed by Huawei and Seres. The hybrid is equipped with two electric motors located on both wheel axles. The total power of the engines, depending on the configuration, ranges from 428 to 496 hp. In addition, the crossover comes with a gasoline engine acting as a generator, which provides a range of up to 1242 km. Dimensions M5: 4770/1930/1625 mm, and the length of the wheelbase is 2880 mm. The price of the new product starts at 6,850,000 rubles.
The Aito M7, the older model of the line, is comparable in size to the Swedish Volvo XC90 SUV: the length is 5020 mm, and the wheelbase is 2820 mm. The car is equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 449 hp. and a gasoline generator with a range of up to 1100 km. In addition, this hybrid is capable of driving up to 180 km of electricity on the WLTC cycle.[1]

The Aito M5 is based on Huawei's proprietary platform. The car is offered with three versions of power plants, each of which is based on a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, producing no more than 123 hp. The internal combustion engine functions as a generator, which is responsible for powering the 40-kilowatt battery. The range on electric traction reaches 150 kilometers, and the total range is 1.1 thousand km. The announced acceleration of the Aito M5 to 100 km in 4.68 s. The electric car received a light aluminum chassis and four ball joints, a front suspension on double wishbones and a multi-link rear suspension that provides faster acceleration, smoothness and stability on the road.[2]
