2020: Start of sales

In the middle of March, 2020 IBM announced the beginning of sales of Project Debater technology — the systems of artificial intelligence, a capable message of a discussion with people on difficult subjects in real time. This product became available to the companies.

Within commercial implementation of technology of IBM integrated several key Project Debater components, such as natural languag processing (NLP), with the Watson computer that that could support dialog with the user. According to developers, it "will allow the enterprises to receive, analyze and understand more information, transferred orally, and completely transforms a technique of use of an intellectual capital". Thanks to Project Debater of the company will be able to train better the systems in understanding of the human speech for implementation of broader automation.

The most important technology which is the cornerstone of Project Debater is NLP providing communication between the person and machine on the basis of human language. IBM claims that the new feature called by the expanded analysis of moods will help to understand and analyze machines of an idiom and phrases with the most difficult values.

Earlier Project Debater opposed the champion on a debate among people Harish Nataraja in San Francisco, and results of a duel were ambiguous. Though Nataradzha considered that it won a debate, many noted persuasiveness and the connectivity of the arguments offered by the computer.

The engineer of research laboratory IBM in Haifa and one of Project Debater developers Noam Slonim noted that the machine considers billions of offers and instantly selects useful fragments of information which are related to a subject consistently to state the arguments. However when it was asked whether the machine can understand actually the purpose of a human debate, Noam answered that the AI necessary level known as the artificial general intelligence (AGI), still "is unavailable and will remain unattainable, at least, till 2050".^[1]
