ID-Pick-by-Vision is the solution providing performance and accuracy of behavior of operations on selection of goods in a warehouse at the expense of a combination of advantages of two technologies: voice actuation and augmented reality.
In the solution the holographic technologies developed by Microsoft company, implemented in the product Microsoft Hololens are used: the person who put on glasses sees surrounding objects normally, and the special programs managed by the application developed by us add to the real world of the hologram (supplement reality).
Problems which are solved by a system
- performance improvement: work of the operator is not connected with actions for scanning a stroke of codes and work with the terminal keyboard. At the same time he does not look for a cell – the active cell is highlighted and the way to it is specified shooters of navigation, and the operator just sees that how many and from where to take and also – where to put (if in a task there are several options of placement of a set);
- increase in accuracy of transactions: a system controls location of the operator and the direction of his view of a required cell in date of transmission of voice confirmation on selection;
- increase in safety of work: the sight, hearing and hands of the operator are free (from work with the computer) – he controls a surrounding situation better.
How it works
- The operator is equipped with the special computer glasses specifying to him arrangement of the cells containing required products and also necessary quantity of these products. Execution of operations is confirmed by voice: the operator says quantity of the products taken from a cell.
- The computer system uses the classical mechanism of address storage, but the operator does not spend time for comparison of the address to a cell (as in case of use of other solutions) – he sees the "illuminated" cell at once.
- A system automatically builds a route so that the priority of activation of markers of cells would be logically built: for example reduction of a way or necessary sequence of formation of a set.
Specify arrangement of cells (storage locations), the direction of turn of the head for search of the next cell in the ID-Pick-by-Vision system of the hologram, visualize task performance on a special board, display managing menus, hints and so on. Besides, the operator does not spend time for contact with the switch, as in case of use of the ID-Pick-to-Light system. It provides advantage in high-speed performance over other solutions. The task for assembly can arrive from the existing system of the Customer in the online mode, on Wi-fi networks, or "offline", through scanning a code stroke.
