2020: An exit in the general access of the solution Infor Nexus RFID Scan & Pack
On January 30, 2020 the Infor company announced an exit in the general access of several solutions designed to help fashion brands and omnichannel retailers to optimize management of warehouse stocks, to increase the accuracy of demand planning and the offer, to increase production efficiency and to accelerate an output of fashionable products to the market at once. According to the statement of the developer, the solution Infor Nexus Scan & Pack allows retailers and fashion brands to use for factory packing of products of a RFID tag, providing accuracy of packaging and also compliance of work of production to industry requirements and target performance indicators. Using the solution data of EPC (an electronic product code) are automatically fixed and checked, the failed and dubbed tags come to light. As a result it is possible to achieve the high accuracy of control of the fact of delivery — to the level of a separate thing — without the need for physical processing of each unit of production.
As noted in Infor, the solution is a component of the Infor Nexus Factory Management software package which is responsible for timely sale and observance of requirements for packaging of products in cardboard and on drawing labels and also directly provides formation of labels and notifications of shipping of a proper sample. Function of scanning of RFID helps to keep account to within a separate product and to optimize processes of packaging of products on production. At the same time data of EPC can be traced using other product Infor — Infor Nexus Supply Chain Traceability intended for reduction of risk of a brand, connected with potential problems when implementing products.
