2020: The announcement of the robot for disinfection of premises
On April 20, 2020 it became known of creation of the robot by Aurora Robotiks company capable to carry out disinfection of premises. The invention will be especially relevant in propagation conditions of a koronavirusny infection of COVID-19.
The machine is created based on the Junior robot and to be executed in caterpillar or wheel option. Advantage of the first option is the increased passability and a possibility of overcoming ladders and other serious obstacles. Loading capacity of the equipment is 50 kg. Independent operation of the device makes two hours.
The robot allows to perform remote disinfection of big premises, without putting at risk human health. According to developers as the robot programmatically or remotely using the operator is controlled, he will allow to protect health of the involved personnel and to simplify disinfection process.
About 10 million rubles are spent for creation of model, however developers hope that the robot will enjoy popularity against the background of a coronavirus pandemic.
kak TASS reports on April 20, 2020, in the nearest future "The aurora robotiks" will be included into consortium " Avtodat.Rus " and will transfer information on movements of all the robotic complexes.
Avrora Robotics develops the software which allows to make already known equipment and vehicles pilotless. The management system of Avrora Robotics integrates information arriving from diverse sensors, creates the card of surrounding space, finds obstacles and independently makes the decision on the movement of the pilotless platform. These developments found application in the robot disinfector.
