2025: Production Launch

On January 29, 2025, the Roselectronics holding began mass production of television systems for underwater robotic systems capable of detecting mines at a depth of several hundred meters in 2025.

According to the press service of Rostec, the equipment is designed for underwater drones manufactured by the Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation (KTRV) and includes high-resolution video cameras with a wide viewing angle, powerful lighting devices and a control unit.

The new software allows you to maintain image clarity while increasing the speed of the drone, which significantly reduces the time spent examining underwater objects. The telesystem provides control over the grip of detected mines and other dangerous objects.

The search complex is designed to be installed on mine defense ships. It includes a self-propelled underwater vehicle - a guided drone for searching, detecting, classifying and identifying mines.

One of the cameras installed in the bottom of the robot can be used as a guidance device if it is necessary to destroy the mine in place. The system is capable of detecting explosive devices even under a layer of sludge.

The underwater vehicle can perform tasks with sea waves of up to three points at a considerable distance from the carrier ship. The complex has variable speed characteristics depending on the operating mode.

The holding plans to continue equipping the devices under construction with modern equipment during 2025, which will significantly increase the effectiveness of mine countermeasures in Russian territorial waters.[1]
