Previously, in the production of domestic cars, the design of optics and electronics was often given to international companies, which in turn included their patents in the product. This tied the automaker to the supplier and did not provide an opportunity to localize production.

NPP Losev will also present an LED fog lamp (PTF), the optics of which are designed by Russian engineers. PTF will soon appear on the market, it can be purchased for its car.

In 2017, we created a company with the goal of reaching the pipeline for automakers. In 2023, this goal was achieved, we signed a contract for the supply of lead lighting equipment and we begin the next stage of development. At the same time, we are faced with difficulties: for example, in obtaining a car certificate 16949. Previously, they were issued by international certification experts who left the market. And without a certificate, we are not a level 1 and 2 supplier, only 3. For a young company, this is gorgeous, but we are looking to the future and want not only to import replace the departed companies, but also to be industry experts in the country, to produce high-tech products that can compete in the international market, said Sergey Alekseenko, Development Director of NPP Losev.

In addition, NPP Losev has solutions in the field of anti-aircraft floodlights: the company has created the smallest LED floodlight, which can shine 3 thousand meters and is used to protect perimeters and waters, like a taxi search floodlight.
