an Opportunity to become authorized on printers and the MFP through One Q Mobile Print

On December 17, 2019 the company TerraLink reported that there was application One Q Mobile Print updated for mobile printing which for December, 2019 is already available in shops Apple App Store and Google Play. Now users of One Q can send documents to printing directly from mobile devices and also use smartphones for authorizations on corporate printers and MFP.

It gives additional flexibility and convenience in work. Employees can print at any time and from any place – from the house, from office or on the way for work.

Using smartphones for authorization on printers and the MFP, it is possible to reduce significantly the cost of ownership of the system of safe printing. It allows to refuse access cards, need for purchase of the additional hardware (readers and IP bridges) disappears. It is not necessary to set the software client in printers. Besides, mobile application in addition is not licensed in any way.

• You send the document to printing directly from the smartphone or the tablet
• You approach any to the printer/MFP convenient and available to you at office
• You open the application and you select the necessary document from the list on printing
• For the choice of the printer you scan the QR code placed on the device

The One Q Mobile Print App application is available to devices iOS and Android. Supports file formats - MS Office, Open Office, iWork, CSV, RTF PDF, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, PNG. Mobile application works directly with server One Q VDMS, without add-on server modules and licenses.

To take all advantage of mobile printing, it is necessary to update the version of One Q up to 5.1.6 or above. All printers and the MFP at office need to be supplied with QR codes which correspond to the network address of the printing device, they can be printed directly from the One Q portal. Users can download free of charge mobile application in Apple App Store and Google Play shops. Having installed the application to itself on the smartphone, it is necessary to enter the credentials.

One Q VDMS 5.1.5

On June 7, 2019 the TerraLink company, the official distributor of One Q Technologies company, announced an exit of upgraded version of the software of One Q VDMS 5.1.5 for management and optimization of office printing.

In One Q VDMS 5.1.5, according to the developer, users are waited by a number of additional opportunities:

1. Water tags. The feature for automatic printing of water tags on each page of the document on previously configured template is added. It allows to identify quickly visually the document on the owner and date that raises the overall level of control of printing in the company.
2. the Dashbord for the administrator. The diagram of loading of the One Q print server and the pie chart with aggregated data for the last month by the total number of the printed and automatically remote pages are output to the homepage of the administrative web portal (b/w and color).
3. Notifications on date of termination of licenses and certificates. In the provided release the feature to include system and mail notifications of the expiring term of the license and office certificates of One Q is added. What will allow not to forget when it is necessary to prolong the license/certificate.
4. Additional changes:

• Left Android-application for direct integration One Q with devices Ricoh
• There was a field for adding of the MAC address of the printing device

• The option Scan2Workflow which allows to save in network folders the scanned documents on their type using third-party applications is added (it is licensed separately)
• Graphic improvements are entered to the user interface and defects and errors from the previous versions are eliminated

2018: Version of One Q 5.1.4

On September 25, 2018 the TerraLink company announced an exit of the next release of a management system for printing. In the provided version 5.1.4 of users waits for a number of opportunities and changes in work of the software solution One Q.

In this release developers completely updated design of a control interface – it became easier and modern, animation is added and the general readability and responsiveness of the interface is increased. At the same time for convenience of administration all controls remained on the usual places.

Mobile printing through mail

The Email2Print function for mobile printing from the house and in business trips, from the notebook, the smartphone or the tablet, from under any operating system is added to One Q 5.1.4. It is rather simple to send the document to the selected postal address, and then at office to print it on any permitted printer, previously having authorized in a system according to the card or the PIN code.

The option Email2Print works via any corporate or public mail server.

Printing via the web interface

Using the Upload2Print function you can load documents for printing directly in the browser, having come on the One Q web portal under the normal system credentials. Along with the option Email2Print, it is convenient, for example, for work at other office of the company where you have no own workplace. In the same portal it is possible to manage the tasks for printing – to delete unnecessary or to delegate printing to other users.

The option Upload2Print is included in standard licenses now and does not require additional payment.
