2016: MegaFon and MTS will monitor corporate subscribers

PJSC MegaFon"" and PJSC MTS"" announced in early January 2016 a partnership in the market of services for corporate users, within the framework of which for the first time they provide services for determining the location of subscribers MegaFon"" and MTS in all Russian regions of presence, regardless of which of the operators is contracted. Enterprise customers will be able to optimize enterprise logistics, improve employee productivity, and reduce operating costs transport with location services.

With the help of Personnel Control services from MegaFon or "Mobile Employees" from MTS, customers can see subscribers on an electronic card, Russia using operator base station data, monitor the presence of employees, receiving reports of violation of zone control conditions, send SMS services from the site, receive automatic reports by e-mail about all movements per day, week or month, take into account the working hours of employees working outside the office and much more. Location is also available using signals/, GPSGLONASS when using special mobile applications.

The cross-monitoring function allows companies to connect not only corporate, but personal numbers of employees to a single monitoring system, as well as monitor SIM cards of corporate clients who use the services of several telecom operators. Thanks to the technology used together, customers of both operators can locate both smartphone owners and ordinary mobile phones. In this case, determining the location of the subscriber of another operator does not require a surcharge. The service is provided only if the subscriber agrees to it.
