2016: Model Studio CS of the power transmission line on the nanoCAD platform

On November 17, 2016 the company CSoft Development announced release of the official version of the software package Model Studio CS of the power transmission line with support of graphic platforms nanoCAD and AutoCAD.

The foundation is laid – we release the first product of the line of Model Studio CS with support of two graphic platforms, nanoCAD and AutoCAD. For us it is an important step in development of all line of the Model Studio CS programs. We prepare for release of updating on the following products: MS Cable economy, Pipelines, Construction solutions, Open distributors, Lightning protection. Yes, waited. Issuing in a line of Model Studio CS the first solution based on nanoCAD, we take a big step in development not only this line, but also domestic a CAD in general. I want to thank our partners, Nanosoft Ltd' and Sisoft Development Ltd, for a collective development approach and excellent interaction of programmers of two companies. Separately I want to note that within the operating subscription the new version of Model Studio CS of the power transmission line is provided to users and Model Studio CS of the power transmission line, and power transmission line nanoCAD. By agreement with Nanosoft company the product nanoCAD of the power transmission line is removed from commercial deliveries. Now the uniform and relevant certified functionality of the power transmission line is available based on nanoCAD and AutoCAD (both platforms support the *.dwg format). As a part of a distribution kit the special version of the nanoCAD 8.0 platform – users are provided with a ready workplace, with the graphic platform and instruments of calculation and design of the power transmission line. On nanoCAD are necessary the current license on Model Studio CS for work with Model Studio CS and the license for the nanoCAD 8.0 platform with the module 3D.

The release does not require AutoCAD updating: it is established on any versions of this platform – with the 2010th on the 2016th inclusive.

2015: There was a release of the version of Model Studio CS of the power transmission line

On August 14, 2015 the CSoft company reported release of the next version of Model Studio CS of the power transmission line - the software for design of the power transmission line of all classes of tension and the fiber-optic communication line on VL^[1].

Dmitry Kulikov, the head of department of software development of CSoft Development, noted: "This version is updating existing 2.0.0.548 and a preparatory stage before a release of absolutely new version which will give an opportunity for work on two CAD platforms: nanoCAD and AutoCAD. An exit of one more updating with support of AutoCAD 2015-2016 is possible".

The release does not require updating AutoCAD: it is established on any versions of this platform – with the 2007th on the 2014th inclusive, works in the environment of 32-and 64-bit versions of OS Windows HR Vista 7 8.

Possibilities of Model Studio CS of the power transmission line are used at project development of new construction, reconstruction and repair. The software package is based on provisions of the existing specifications and technical documentation and completely meets the requirements of PUE-7.

2013: New version of Model Studio CS of the power transmission line

On October 2, 2013 the CSoft group announced release of the new version of Model Studio CS of the power transmission line.

New Model Studio CS tools of the power transmission line

As a part of the new version:

• Calculation of ballasts.
• Calculation wires/ropes/WOK taking into account an extract.
• Accounting of chopped pickets, adding/removal of sections of a profile.
• Automatic creation of information 3D model of the power transmission line.
• Arrangement of support in 3D.
• Work with a power transmission line 3D model.
• The new manager of library allowing to increase the speed of work and offering new features for administration of the database.
• New master of export of data.
• Calculation of the power transmission line according to requirements of PUE of Ukraine (it is developed especially for Ukraine).
• New certificate of conformity to requirements of PUE-7.
• The new AutoCAD menu is the film.
• The publication of information 3D model of the power transmission line in the CADLib system Model and Archive, Autodesk Navisworks.

2012: Model Studio CS of the power transmission line

The CSoft Development company announced in September, 2012 official release of the new version of the software package Model Studio CS of the power transmission line intended for design of the power transmission line of 0.4-750 kV and the fiber-optic communication line on VL.

Main additions:

• possibility of an insert and removal of section of a profile taking into account the existing arrangement of support;
• calculation of transition taking into account a chopped picket;
• possibility of modeling of break a wire/rope/WOK in any flight;
• calculation and creation of a curve of sagging a wire/rope/WOK at break in any design regime;
• calculation and registration of transition taking into account break a wire/rope/WOK in adjacent flight;
• possibility of installation on a support or a wire of any equipment from the database — for the purpose of documentation and calculation;
• the advanced Master of export of data allowing to receive new forms of output documents;
• new templates: break calculation documentation wire/rope/WOK, mounting magazines of support, loads of support, unit and normative loads, specification of the equipment, etc.;
• the added database of the equipment (new types of wires and ropes, new types of support, etc.).

The new release does not require AutoCAD updating: it is established on any versions of this platform, with the 2007th on the 2012th inclusive, and works in the environment of 32-and 64-bit versions of Windows OS.

Users with the operating subscription can receive the new version of Model Studio CS of the power transmission line free of charge, and those at whom the subscription is overdue — after its resuming.
