My id mobile app has been updated. The developers have optimized its interface. The document cards are now displayed individually, not in a stack. Thanks to this, users see all available at once documents and can find the information you need even faster. In addition, the ability to choose a theme has been added. And in the application "My id" there was a section with stories, in which you can familiarize yourself with updates in the work and instructions for using it. As of August 2024, "My id" is already available 14 types of documents. It is important that users are convenient to navigate them and quickly find what they need, so by creating an updated interface, we tried to optimize the user path first. Now you can immediately see all the documents whose information is available in the application, and literally open them in one touch to get the necessary information or services. One of the most notable changes in the My id application affected the Documents section. Now it uses a different format for displaying information. Previously, documents were stacked. To find the information you need, you needed to scroll through all the cards. For August 2024, the available documents are presented on the main page as separate stickers. After entering "My id," the user just needs to click on the sticker with the name of the desired document - and the necessary information will immediately open to him. In addition, at the top of the screen, in the filter bar, there was a quick transition to the Favorites section. It is displayed as an asterisk. Here you can see those documents and services that the user himself highlighted in the "Document Management" section.

In addition, a section was added to the application. In it, in the format of stories, news about all updates is published, as well as tips on how to use "My id" in different situations. To go to the section, click on the button with the application logo at the bottom of the screen. Each story will be available to the user within 24 hours, then it will disappear. The red color of the section button will tell you about the appearance of new information. After watching all the news, it will turn gray.

And users also have the opportunity to independently choose the theme. For August 2024, options such as Zoo and My City, as well as Modern Theme, are available to them in the My id app. When choosing the theme "Zoo," images of a bear, panda, raccoon, llama and other animals will appear on sticker cards. The theme "My City" is dedicated to metropolitan attractions. When choosing it, the documents will decorate the images of the architectural monuments of Moscow. For example, on the card of the Russian passport you can see the Cathedral of St. Basil. In the "Modern Theme," stickers are stylized as corresponding documents. This makes the experience of the interface easier and easier to understand. The themes for the application design are located in the "More" section at the bottom of the screen.

The application is available to all residents of the capital registered on the mos.ru portal and having a standard or full account.

After authorization for mos.ru, the information specified by the user in his personal account or provided upon receipt of public services will automatically appear in the "My id" application. You can select the documents that will be used in it in the settings. If any of them are not specified in the profile on the mos.ru, the system will offer to go to the portal and make required information.

The mobile application "My id" started working in July 2023. With its help, citizens can get quick access to the information of personal documents and documents of their children, including passports, TIN, SNILS and compulsory medical insurance policy, driver's license. As Sergei Sobyanin noted, this optimizes the filling out of online forms, questionnaires and applications, and also makes it possible to use some city services.

The project is being developed by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies together with the New Management Technologies State Institution. The use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence to improve the quality of life of citizens corresponds to the tasks of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" and the regional project of Moscow "Digital Public Administration."

The ability to view and forward basic information about the pet

The Moscow Department of Information Technology has expanded the capabilities of the My id mobile application for pet owners. Information about pets in the "My id" application can connect citizens who indicated information about their pets in the personal account of the portal mos.ru. To do this, you need to log in to the application, open the settings and go to the "Document Management" section. In the Documents tab, activate the Pet Details radio button. After that, the corresponding card will be displayed in the "Favorites" and "Documents" sections.

Ability for parents to view information about their children's documents

Metropolitan parents can now view in the "My id" application information about the documents of their children, including birth certificates, passports, SNILS, compulsory medical insurance policy and TIN. To do this, just add information about the child in your personal account on the portal mos.ru. This feature will make it easier to fill out online forms, applications, questionnaires and contracts, as well as allow you to quickly share document data with proxies, for example, to buy tickets. This was announced on May 14, 2024 by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies (DIT).

Almost since the launch of the "My id" application, users have asked to add the ability to view children's documents. Parents quite often face a situation where information about the child is required to fill out a questionnaire or contract. Of course, there are not always copies of paper documents at hand. Now "My id" solves this problem. It is enough to add all the necessary information to your personal account on the mos.ru portal, connect the function in the application - and all the necessary information will be available at any time, - said Dmitry Ivanov, deputy head of the Moscow Department of Information Technologies.

To view information about children's documents in "My id," you need to log in to the application, open the settings, go to the "Document management" section and in the "Services" tab activate the "Information about children" switch. After that, in the "Favorites" and "Documents" sections, it will be possible to select a child whose document information can be displayed in the application.

It has become even more convenient to use a single reader's ticket (ECB) in the "My id" application. Now online here you can see a list of all books taken in the library and the timing of their return. The application also displays the names of the works, their authors and addresses are readable, to which books should be returned. This was announced on November 28, 2023 by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies (DIT).

A single reading card makes it possible to use the services of city libraries without the need to register in each of them. Thanks to him, Muscovites have access to any publication of interest, regardless of which library it is located in. So that there is always information at hand about when and where to return the book, we have finalized a single reading card in the "My id" application. Now there is all the necessary information, and there is also a button for quick access to the extension of the shelf life of the book, - said the press service of the Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow.

A single reading card is presented in the application "My id" in the form of a barcode. It can be used in all metropolitan libraries to obtain and return books. The barcode completely replaces the already familiar plastic card.

To access the reader's ticket in the application, Muscovites need to log in to it using a standard or full account on the mos.ru. If the document data is indicated in the personal account on the portal, its digital copy will appear in the application automatically.

To see the list of all books that are in the hands of the reader, as well as the timing of their return, you need to click on the "Unified Reading Card" in the "My id" application. The service can also extend the shelf life of the book and see additional information. To do this, the user just needs to click on the name of the book. The title and author of the work, the return date and the address of the library to which it should be returned will appear in the window that opens. Another button "Book Extension" will appear on the screen. By clicking on it, the user will get to the reader's office in the Moscow Library service on mos.ru, where he can postpone the date of the book's return.

A single reading card was issued offline and online by more than a million people. This can be done in any metropolitan library subordinate to the Department of Culture, or on the portal mos.ru. After filling out a small online form, the user will receive a notification about the registration of the ECB, and a barcode will appear in the personal account and the My id application to access the Moscow Library service.

As of November 2023, 440 reading rooms operate in Moscow, in the funds of which there are almost 15 million publications of fiction, scientific and professional literature, as well as periodicals.

Ability to present SNILS in the form of a barcode

In all metropolitan offices, "My Documents" can now be presented to SNILS in the form of a barcode in the mobile application "My id." This simplifies the process of appeal for citizens and speeds up the work of specialists. Using a special scanner, the office employee reads the barcode of the document, and the system automatically fills in the necessary fields. This was announced on November 2, 2023 by the Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow.

SNILS number is needed to receive most services in the center "My Documents." According to it, the information system of public services centers finds all the necessary information about the citizen and, if available, automatically fills out the application fields. Previously, employees of the centers could enter the SNILS number only manually, and visitors had to dictate it or present the original document. Now it is enough to show the barcode in the "My id" application on the smartphone screen. The employee considers it a special scanner, and SNILS data will automatically enter the information system. Muscovites will no longer have to worry that the document is not with them, - said Dmitry Ivanov, deputy head of the Moscow City Information Technology Department.

The results of testing showed that more than 90 percent of the respondents - among them both citizens and employees of public services centers - confirmed the convenience of such mechanics in use, - said Alexander Pishchelko.

At the same time, the electronic version of the document does not replace the original. In certain cases, a citizen will need to have SNILS with him, if this is required by the regulations for the provision of services.

Release of the application

In July 2023, the Department of Information Technologies (DIT) of Moscow released the My ID mobile application for storing digital copies of citizens' documents. Any registered portal user can use the service mos.ru.

According to the developers, the application simplifies the filling out of forms and online forms, allows you to quickly share the necessary information, as well as use digital versions of some documents to obtain city services. As told in DIT, by July 19, 2023, data from nine documents are available in the program. This is information contained not only in identity documents, such as Russian and foreign passports, but also data from Moscow identifiers, such as a Muscovite card, a single reader's ticket. They are convenient to use in everyday life, including when filling out various online forms or buying tickets.

Information about some documents is available in the form of a barcode, from which you can receive services in city institutions. In addition, the appendix contains data from SNILS, compulsory medical insurance policy, driver's license, TIN, as well as information about pets.

At the same time, by July 19, 2023, an electronic copy of a passport or driver's license in "My ID" cannot be used as an official identity document. In the future, users will also have access to other documents and information that can be used digitally to obtain various city services and services.

It is alleged that all information used by the application is stored in a city data center, protected in accordance with the requirements of the regulator in the field of information security. This data is not stored on the user's phone.^[1]
