2024: Introduction of ProGeoNetwork software
On January 29, 2024, the Progress Microelectronic Research Institute presented the ProGeoNetwork software, which is part of the PROGEO geodetic complex.
At the end of January 2024, the ProGeoNetwork network software is being tested to collect GNSS corrective information and provide it to consumers on real-life networks of base stations. In terms of its characteristics, the program is not inferior, and in some cases exceeds the parameters of the products of leading foreign companies, many of which have left Russia.
The head of the geodetic software development group of NIIMA Progress Alexei Razumovsky and the leading software engineer of the Institute Alexei Kurenshchikov presented a pilot project for deploying ProGeoNetwork software based on reference stations of the Republic of Dagestan and their modernization.
In Dagestan, it is planned to put into trial operation, debug and test the program. It is necessary to configure satellite GNSS receivers on the central subnet (Tarki, Kaspiysk, Kizilyurt, Buinaksk, Sulak) of the network of permanent stations of the republic.
The offer of this software product to the Russian market will be implemented immediately after its certification, which is expected by mid-2024. NIIMA Progress is working on a project to deploy the ProGeoNetwork in the interests of Rosreestr throughout Russia.
