2023: Opening of the largest holographic class in Russia for 21.5 million rubles

The company Antilatency, which specializes in optical-inertial positional tracking systems, supplied NettleDesk equipment for the new school in Naberezhnye Chelny for 21.5 million rubles, thanks to which the largest geographical class in Russia was opened in this institution. This was announced on September 1, 2023 by the press service of Skolkovo, whose resident is the developer.

NettleDesk comes with: holographic screen; graphical workstation; specialized goggles; controls; a set of holographic layouts in six disciplines. Specialized glasses are equipped with technology for recognizing the user's position in space from the tracker. The Alt optical-inertial tracker is placed in glasses that synchronize with the holographic monitor. When the student moves in space relative to the monitor, the tracker reads this position. Due to this, the holographic picture is rebuilt exactly to the position of this user and a three-dimensional image of the layout is created, which visually protrudes from beyond the boundaries of the screen. Anti-latency technology is also used in special styluses that equip holographic training places.

NettleDesk workstations allow you to work in Compass-3D and AutoCAD, create models for subsequent 3D printing on school 3D printers. Before being sent to print, students view the model in mock-up mode to find possible modeling errors. This saves the time and materials of a 3D printer, allows you to evaluate without printing.

As noted in Antilatency, an authorized training center created on the basis of this complex will work for teachers throughout Russia and new holographic technologies will be available not only at the "iron" level, but also at the methodological level.[1]
