2024: Refinements for one-day contracts

On the part of JSC "National Insurance Information System" (NSIS), improvements to the AIS OSAGO for the execution of one-day contracts are ready. NSIS reported this on March 1, 2024.

We do not expect a sharp rise in the number of insurance contracts immediately after March 2 - there is inertia on the market, - commented the head of the company Nikolai Galushin. - But in principle, AIS insurance can withstand an increase in load (accessing the system, checking documents, information exchange, storing a larger amount of information under contracts - both by fields and by pieces).

One-day contracts are the provision of additional opportunities for vehicle drivers. But do not forget that in principle, in the practice of insurance, the shorter the insurance contract, the more expensive this insurance becomes, and in proportion to the insurance period, and not in absolute value, N. Galushin explained.

2023: Acquisition of AIS OSAGO by the National Insurance Information System

Joint Stock Company "National Insurance Information System" (NSIS JSC, operator of AIS insurance) in October 2023 acquired Russian Union of Auto Insurers (RSA) ON from AIS OSAGO.
