The case of LKS Wi-fi is the solution for work on remote sections (a local communication server), the mobile base station of Wi-fi intended for data reading, storage and data transmission in the Internet on a communication server.

On January 28, 2015 it became known of development of Omnicomm-Service company - "The Case of LKS LKS Wi-fi"[1].

The product is focused on use in pits, on logging, in relation to the mining and other equipment operated out of a coverage of mobile operators.

The mobile base station of Wi-fi represents a case from heavy-duty plastic with the anodized covering. Aluminum edgings are provided for hardening of construction and serve in a role of "earth" for the Wi-fi antenna. The case is equipped with the notebook and network equipment. A power supply moves from the slot of the lighter of the vehicle via inverter 24B => 220B.

The car, the equipped "Case of LKS Wi-fi", runs in the equipment, coming very close to it. The mobile base station of Wi-fi creates the Wi-fi No. 1 local area network with terminals, reads out from them data and writes in LKS on the notebook. Upon return on base, at connection to the Internet on Wi-fi No. 2 network or cellular network 3G/4G data are transferred to the server. Preserving of data on the removable medium is possible.

Being on a remote object, the mobile station Wi-fi considers data from all machines in a radius up to 50 m. If necessary the external antenna with a range to 150 m can be attached to a case. At the same time on an object several LKS can be involved.

2015: Omnicomm-Service upgraded the solution for field works

On August 6, 2015 the Omnicomm-Service company announced readiness of the solution for control of the equipment and the mechanisms working at remote sections – in places of total absence of cellular communication and the wire Internet - engineers Omnicomm-Service created the solution for the Russian working conditions.

"Via the Wi-Fi-router with the antenna or through the Case Wi-fi working from the lighter, data are transferred to a cloud server of Omnicomm Online, – Evgeny Kostur, the engineer of projects Omnicomm-Service explained. – It occurs thanks to the satellite double-sided Internet on VSAT technology – through the small satellite terrestrial station".

In the first case, by transfer via the Wi-Fi-router with a mast antenna of 1.4 m, the radius of a covering of network about 300 m. The check point, dispatching office, the change house office, command center boring can become the place for placement of Wi-fi and the satellite equipment.

In the second case the Case Wi-fi working from lighter 24/12 V or network 220 V is located in a cabin, for example, of the fuel-servicing truck and creates Wi-Fi-network with a radius of 25 m. Upon return transfers collected data by means of satellite communication to the Case Wi-fi base. The case is equipped with the notebook which if necessary can be used as attendant workstation.

In both cases data from objects are transferred to the Omnicomm Online server at the following indicators: ping of the channel makes 350-700 milliseconds, the speed of forward channel – to 2048 Kbps, a reverse channel – up to 512 Kbps. The cloud service of Omnicomm Online helps to keep track of location and a status of vehicles in real time, provides reports of different detailing – from detailed on operation of one machine for change to the summary statistic reports on all vehicle fleet constructed for several months.

Dmitry Zhuravlyov, the CEO noted Omnicomm-Service: "The transport, construction, oil refining companies work in very difficult conditions – fleet management in this case becomes even more interesting challenge.
