2014: Oracle Service Bus 12c

On July 7, 2014 the Oracle corporation announced a release of the new version of Oracle Service Bus.

The new version of Oracle Service Bus, key solution component of Oracle Mobile Suite, offers a basis for strategy implementation of dynamic multichannel, mainly, mobile interactions. Oracle Service Bus 12c simplifies development of mobile services, allowing to submit internal, corporate or cloud applicaions, via the JSON API interfaces (JavaScript Object Notation) and REST (Representational State Transfer).

As a part of updates of Oracle Service Bus:

• the unified development environment in Oracle JDeveloper — provides both creation of external applications, and application integration with internal systems using approach based on graphic masters for representation of internal systems as API interfaces of REST/JSON.
• the built-in means of distributed caching in RAM provide scaling of the overloaded internal systems, allowing them to cope with the growing traffic from mobile applications, reducing the general delay, and, finally, improving quality of work of end users.
