Oracle Mobile Suite

Oracle Mobile Suite is integrated solution for acceleration of development and deployment of mobile applications for mobile platforms.

On July 7, 2014 Oracle announced updates of the Oracle Mobile Suite complex.

As a part of the updated solution Oracle Mobile Suite - the new Oracle Mobile Application Framework (MAF) component and the new version of Oracle Service Bus optimized for mobile integration including the built-in support of API interfaces of REST/JSON. Improvements in products will allow to accelerate release of the new applications working on different mobile devices with access to corporate, cloud and third-party mobile services.

Application developers aim to create quicker applications for different mobile platforms and Oracle released upgraded version of the Oracle Mobile Suite complex which is a part of the Oracle Mobile Platform platform to give the innovation opportunities simplifying and accelerating creation new of the scaled and protected mobile applications.

Oracle Mobile Application Framework (MAF)

The new Oracle Mobile Application Framework (MAF) development environment simplifies creation of multiplatform applications for mobile devices.

The Oracle MAF component is closely integrated with the Oracle Mobile Security Suite complex which protects corporate applications and data on mobile devices and also provides safe deployment and control of any mobile application.

Oracle MAF simplifies creating applications for mobile devices, offering:

• The choice of integrated development environment — Oracle JDeveloper or Eclipse (using a packet Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse) and also development language — Java JavaScript or HTML5.
• More than 80 ready components of the user interface which allow developers to create more perfect interfaces of mobile applications with extensive opportunities of data visualization, reducing the need for low-level HTML5 programming.
• Support of the connected modules Apache Cordova allows developers to use effectively specific functions of mobile devices for different operating systems.
• Declarative creation of components of the user interface offers ample opportunities of reuse of components by application development and creation of templates for user interfaces.
• The built-in integration with the Oracle Mobile Security Suite complex provides expanded support of the premises of applications in containers, the improved authentication and authorization and also integration with accounts on social networks.
• Enhanced capabilities of setup help developers to configure and change ready mobile applications.
• Support of the applications developed in Oracle ADF Mobile.
