Such batteries are used as part of backup power supplies, for example, on automated telephone exchanges, automatic telephone announcement equipment, servers and ensure uninterrupted operation of telecommunication equipment. The equipment is capable of withstanding long-term and deep discharges, elevated and low temperatures.
On the Russian market, domestic manufacturers of industrial batteries in February 2024 occupy less than 20%, and the cost of imported analogues has recently more than doubled, and difficulties have appeared with the supply of such equipment to Russia.
