2024: Presentation of HardcoreIT methodology
Positive Technologies on October 17, 2024 presented a methodology for building cyber defense - HardcoreIT.
According to to data pentests Positive Technologies, 96% of companies do not have adequate protection against penetration hackers into them. IT infrastructure Given that it takes only 6.5 hours for an attacker to successfully attack, and only three steps are enough for three out of four organizations to access the local network, the situation becomes critical.
Incident monitoring and response specialists should be available 24/7. However, only 36% of organizations can afford such costs.
To increase cyber resilience, companies need to work out strategies to manage attack times and make threats more visible to information security services. In this context, the HardcoreIT approach is a solution to slow down time to attack (TTA) attacks and provide cyber incident protection teams with more time to contain (TTC).
The implementation of the methodology will help companies determine their own indicators of the time of attack and response to a cyber incident and form an IT transformation program to predictably increase the period required for hackers to cause unacceptable damage.
