2023: Presentation of nine Power Distribution Unit models
POWERCOM enters the data center and telecommunications center engineering infrastructure end-to-end market and introduces nine power distribution device (PDU) models. The company announced this on October 6, 2023.
POWERCOM's Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is designed to distribute electrical power to different load types, such as servers, DSS, and telecommunications equipment.
POWERCOM's Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is divided into four groups.
Non-monitored PDUs are simple models made in an ultra-durable metal case, with a mode indicator, for simultaneously powering several electronic devices. It is equipped with a power cord with a cable, so you can easily connect this device to hard-to-reach outlets.
PDU with input monitoring - these models are equipped with a MR485 interface unit (with support for up to 64 serial devices) or an IP monitoring unit, both of which have a hot swap function. These PDU models support external sensors such as door opening, leakage, smoke, temperature, and humidity sensors.
PDU models with IP monitoring and control - allow you to remotely control and control each outlet. You can also turn the sockets off and on locally using the control buttons. Like monitored PDUs, external door opening, leakage, smoke, temperature, and humidity sensors can be connected to such PDUs.
Bypasses (MBS) - the main feature of this series is the ability to create a closed system that allows you to easily service the UPS, isolating it from the critical load. MBS series models have two modes of power supply to the load: power supply from the UPS or power supply directly from the mains (bypass mode). This device belongs to the class of mechanical bypasses, where switching is carried out manually.
From the largest data center to the smallest home office, POWERCOM products enable efficient hardware operations. Whether you need to provide power to servers and a reliable backup battery, connect high-resolution video sources to displays and digital signage, or organize and secure rack IT hardware, POWERCOM offers a complete solution.
The warranty for all PDUs is one year.
