2022: Work on the creation of a quantum-stable blockchain. Launch of pilot projects

The company, "Distributed Registry Systems" the platform developer and the Russian blockchain "Masterchain" the developer of complex software solutions cyber security based on post-quantum algorithms enciphering QApp concluded an agreement on strategic cooperation. The companies are working to create a quantum sustainable for the blockchain the Russian financial industry and have launched a number of joint pilot projects, TAdviser representatives of the Masterchain development company said on November 10, 2022.

The signing of the agreement also took place on November 10, 2022. The document was signed by the general director of Masterchain, grief Kuzmichev and the head of QApp Anton Google.

The Masterchain platform is the first Russian-certified blockchain platform certified by the FSB, which is used for industrial operation in the corporate and public sectors. Masterchain is included in the Unified Register of Russian programs for computers and databases, and is also compatible with the domestic software and hardware base.

Blockchain systems are based on the use of cryptographic information protection functions and the use of an electronic signature, which guarantee the safety of data and the security of their exchange. However, as a new generation of computing devices grows, a new type of threat arises - a quantum threat in which an attacker uses powerful quantum computers to carry out attacks on traditional cryptography. Implemented QApp software solutions using quantum-resistant algorithms are based on ultra-complex mathematical problems and provide protection against attacks using both classical and quantum computers.

A key area of cooperation between the two companies will be the development of a quantum-stable blockchain with integrated QApp software solutions: PQLR SDK and Qtunnel, created on the basis of quantum-stable algorithms. At the same time, the parties plan to pay special attention to piloting the resulting solution in the interests of companies in financial and other sectors of the economy, as well as conducting joint scientific and applied research and the development of the educational unit: organizing lectures, seminars, forums and other events.

"Together with QApp, we are working ahead of the curve and are starting to test post-quantum algorithms for the largest customers in the financial industry. This will make the decision industrially applicable in the near future and will provide us with the status of pioneers in the field of quantum-stable blockchain, "said Igor Kuzmichev, General Director of Masterchain.
