2020: Final stage of creation of the Trawl system
The Russian Space Systems holding (RKS, is included into Roskosmos State corporation) announced on October 12, 2020 the beginning of the final stage of creation of a system of operational monitoring of courts of a special purpose and vessels of the fishery fleet. A system under the working name "Trawl" will provide permanent monitoring of courts and production processes in them.
By estimates Accounts Chamber of the Russian federation, the annual volume of damage from illegal fishery is up to 30 billion rubles. Development of RKS allows to control location, speed, a rate, a status of a different shipboard equipment, including fishing tools, and provides video control.
