2023: Expanding the list of items for disposal

In the catalog of the service "Removal of unnecessary things" on the mos.ru portal, new items for disposal have become available. Most often, residents send applications for the removal of washing machines. They were disposed of 9,595 times. There are a little less refrigerators - 9574 times. Among the pieces of furniture, most often the townspeople ask to take out the sofas: since the end of 2022 they have been disposed of 250 times.

As of March 2023, more than 900 tons of recycled metal items arrived at processing enterprises. The factories have installed special equipment that cuts metal with large knives, breaks magnets into fractions. Then the raw materials go to production plants. During processing, plastic is separated from metals - copper, aluminum and precious metals. They are used in the production of new electronics parts such as wires and boards. Recycled plastics are used for the further production of new items, for example, pipes, boxes, pallets, household equipment, sports goods and much more, - said Alexander Pishchelko, head of the New Management Technologies State Institution, responsible for the development of the Export of Unnecessary Things service.

The service can be used by residents of Moscow, including Zelenograd and TINAO. An application can be made by an adult registered user of the mos.ru portal, it is enough to have a standard account.

When applying, you can leave a comment, for example, inform in advance that the elevator does not work in the house or ask not to ring the door. In addition, it can be canceled online without contacting Support.

Specialists leave on applications daily from 09:00 to 21:00. They will independently take out of the house and load equipment, large items or furniture into the car and deliver them to a recycling enterprise. On average, the process of removing unnecessary items takes less than half an hour.

The service for the removal of unnecessary things is a joint project of the capital's Department of Information Technologies, the Department of Housing and Communal Services and GKU "New Management Technologies."

2022: Service Launch

At the end of November 2022, the city service "Removal of Unnecessary Things" appeared in Moscow, which will free housing from old furniture and electronics. The service is partially free. So, for free you can take out of the apartment:

  • chair (1.8 thousand rubles);

  • table (1.1 thousand rubles);
  • wall (2.2 thousand rubles);
  • cabinet (3.9 thousand rubles);
  • bedside table (1 thousand rubles);
  • chair (440 rubles);

Any adult registered user can apply for the export of furniture, electronics, large-sized equipment and metal items mos.ru after authorization on the portal. You can include an unlimited number of items in one online query. After submitting the application, a representative of the partner company will contact the user to confirm the request and clarify the details.

Masters leave on applications daily from 09:00 to 21:00. On average, the entire process of removing unnecessary items takes less than half an hour. Employees of the partner company take them out of the house, even if there is no elevator, load them into the car and take them to the disposal point. They can disconnect equipment from communications, disconnect the washing machine from the power grid and water supply, but the owners need to dismantle the built-in equipment, doors and baths on their own. Additional preparation requires only the removal of the gas stove: first it must be disconnected from the gas main. To do this, the owners of the apartment need to contact the specialists of the certified service in advance.[1]

2021: Message about the launch of the service for the removal of junk

On October 7, 2021, the Moscow Mayor's Office announced the launch of a free service for the removal of trash. Specialized organizations will provide loaders, a car and, if necessary, load unnecessary things.

The service called "Removal of unnecessary things" was developed by the Department of Housing and Communal Services jointly by the Department of Information Technologies and the state government agency "New Management Technologies."

Residents often face difficulties in disposing of large rubbish. Now things and equipment can only be left in special containers, but they are not installed in all yards, and it is difficult to take out some items without help, especially if there is no elevator in the house. The emergence of a new city service on the mos.ru will help solve this problem. Soon, through this service, citizens will be able to take out heavy furniture (for example, an old sofa, wardrobe or bed), mattresses and other bulky things, - indicated in the release on the official website of the capital's administration.

The service will be able to order any adult registered user on the mos.ru. Calling the machine can take about 30 minutes, in just one application there can be up to 20 items. It is noted that owners will have to break some large-sized items and furniture on their own before the arrival of specialists. If the applicant asks to take out the car, his documents will be checked. Gas stoves and boilers will continue to be disposed of by specialized organizations. Representatives of the capital's business are also invited to join the service.

The exact day of the launch of the "Removal of Unnecessary Things" service by October 7, 2021 is not called. At the same time, the conditions for working with the service have already been published on the mos.ru website, and commercial organizations and individual entrepreneurs in Moscow can send an application for participation in the project.[2]
