Initiation of application
On October 18, 2023, it became known about the beginning of the application of the first mobile solution in Russia to search for stolen cars in the stream. We are talking about the "Search-Nano" complex, which appeared on the roads in the Kursk and Lipetsk regions.
As RIA Novosti was told in the Roselectronics holding (it includes the Meteor plant, which developed Wanted-Nano), based on the results of testing, a decision will be made to install the equipment for supply with the structures of the traffic police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
The device is installed in patrol cars and can be used both in traffic and in the parking lot. This is a completely domestic development that has no analogues in the market.
The kit includes a tablet, specialized software and a compact photo-calculating module, which is easily installed on a patrol car and does not require changes in its design.
According to the developers, one video module recognizes state registration plates (GRZ) of cars on three road lanes at a distance of 90-100 meters, the second - on five lanes and at a distance of 25-30 meters. After reading the GRZ, the software of the complex makes a request to the search bases.
In case of a coincidence, "Search-Nano" instantly issues a notification about the location of the wanted vehicle, giving traffic police officers the opportunity to identify the car in the stream and stop it. Also, the device is also capable of detecting vehicles belonging to persons deprived of the right to drive a car.
According to Roselectronika, Wanted-Nano forms a database containing information about all recognized license plates, and also saves photos of vehicles along with the date, time and location.[1]
Start of Repetitive Production
The mobile complex "Wanted-Nano" successfully passed testing in the traffic police in the Volgograd region and now its production begins. The press service of Rostec announced this on May 29, 2023.
It is alleged that during the pilot tests, the complexes helped traffic police inspectors identify more than 200 offenses related to the operation of unregistered vehicles and cases of driving by persons deprived of a driver's license. The main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Volgograd region reported the following:
The agro-industrial complex "Search-Nano" fully complies with the declared characteristics, is convenient to operate and significantly increases the efficiency of the crews of the road patrol service. The equipment does not require special knowledge and additional training, and its installation and configuration takes no more than six minutes. |
According to the general director of the Meteor plant (which is the developer of the Wanted-Nano system) Yuri Valov, by the end of May 2023 the complex has no direct analogues in the domestic market. The developers managed to create software that not only recognizes vehicle license plates, but also interacts with top-level database servers. In addition, the device is several times cheaper than similar developments in terms of functionality, he said.
The Search-Nano includes a compact photo-calculating module, tablet and software. The equipment is installed in a patrol car and can be used both in the parking lot and in traffic. The processing of video data and recognition of license plates is performed by the device processor. "Search-Nano" generates a database of all recognized license plates and stores photo images of vehicles with date, time and geodata.[2]
Add a second surveillance camera
Holding Roselectronics"" of the State Corporation Rostec on April 12, 2023 presented an updated version of the mobile solution for identifying transport in the stream, cars which are in theft or wanted, as well as removed from registration records. The device also identifies vehicles belonging to people deprived of their driver's license by license plates. The modernized version of the "Wanted-Nano" complex received a second additional one. surveillance camera This will allow the to distinguish number to be arranged at both large and close range.
The solution includes a compact photographic module, tablet and software. The equipment is installed in a patrol machine and can be used in motion. One video module recognizes state registration plates of cars on three road lanes at a distance of 90-100 meters, the second - on five lanes and at a distance of 25-30 meters. After reading the GRZ, the software of the complex makes a request to the search bases. If a match is detected, the tablet instantly receives a message about the detection of the wanted car.
The search databases are downloaded from the servers directly to the photo calculation module and updated each time the device is launched or at the request of the user. At the same time, the complex receives information about operational tasks, such as the announcement of the Interception plan in real time. The processing of video data and recognition of license plates is performed by the device processor.
The solution generates a database of all recognized license plates and stores photo images of vehicles with date, time and geodata. In addition, the complex allows you to control the movement of traffic police crews and preserves the history of their routes.
The "Wanted-Nano" complex is compact and easy to install, its installation does not require changing the design of the patrol car. In addition, the complex is several times cheaper than analogues similar in functionality. Traffic police officers in the Volgograd region have already been able to test the development, after which "Wanted-Nano" was included in the review of the best practice of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the 1st quarter of 2023, - said the general director of the Meteor plant Yuri Valov. |
2022: Announcement of a mobile solution for finding stolen cars in the stream
On September 13, 2022, it became known about the creation of the first mobile solution in Russia to search for stolen cars in the stream. We are talking about the hardware and software complex "Wanted-Nano," developed in the holding "Roselectronics."
The system is installed in a patrol car, recognizes the state registration plates (GRZ) of vehicles and checks them in real time against databases. Also, the complex interacts with the search system for cars of the traffic police of Russia "Web."
The Search-Nano includes a video surveillance module for installation in a patrol car, a tablet and software. The video module recognizes GRZ at a distance of 100-150 meters and can be used in motion. The processing of video data and recognition of license plates is performed by the device processor.
After reading the GRZ, the software of the complex makes a request to the search bases. If a match is detected, the tablet instantly receives a message about the detection of the wanted car. The solution generates a database of all recognized license plates and stores photo images of vehicles with date, time and geodata. In addition, the complex allows you to control the movement of traffic police crews and preserves the history of their routes.
The "Wanted-Nano" complex has no analogues in the domestic market. The decision will allow you to instantly identify cars in theft in the traffic stream, wanted by bailiffs or removed from registration, "said Yuri Valov, general director of the Meteor plant (as part of Roselectronics, he was developing the solution).
According to him, in 2022 it is planned to pilot operation of new equipment in the Volgograd region.
