2023: Integration with RUSSPASS

The national tourism portal Russia.Travel began to develop on the basis of the technologies of the RUSSPASS service. The corresponding agreement in mid-October 2023 was concluded by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development, joint work in this direction will expand the possibilities of both domestic and inbound tourism. As part of the agreement, RUSSPASS will provide technical capabilities and expertise for synchronizing Russia.Travel with the service infrastructure. The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia will accompany all stages of synchronization RUSSPASS and Russia.Travel. In the future, it is planned to interact between the new tourism infrastructure and the Public services portal.

The editorial function will be performed by the ANO "National Priorities," which is responsible for raising awareness of the country's residents about the results of national projects initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2019, including the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry," curated by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

The RUSSPASS service, launched in July 2020, has become an ecosystem over three years of operation that represents the entire set of services and services for travel planning in Russia and for participants in the digital industry, the Ministry of Economic Development notes. By October 2023, tourist offers from 85 Russian regions were presented on the platform. RUSSPASS users can plan a trip, book tickets and a hotel, a table in a restaurant, get acquainted with the sights of Russian cities and make their own personal tourist route.^[1]
