2020: Creation of the robot disinfector

The resident of the SVFU Arctic innovation center created the robot disinfector. It became known on August 13, 2020.

The device – an analog of the VeDroid robot which was created in 2018. Unlike the predecessor, this robot does not wash, and disinfects.

The device passes test in the building of Clinic No. 1 of Yakutsk. The percent of disinfecting of the area will check Rospotrebnadzor. In model quartz lamps are used. To the machine the trajectory thanks to which the area of processing becomes more is set, and hard-to-reach spots become more achievable due to maneuverability of the device. When embedding bigger quantity of lamps working hours of the robot disinfector will increase to four, and the area of processing – to 2000 square meters.

After trial starts we work on reduction of the body and replacement of lamps by at once several recirculators, – the founder of the project Nikolay Potapov tells. – The idea is in that the useful robot could be used at schools and hospitals even in the presence of there people: the advanced device will not bear any danger to a retina of eyes, will become safe for people, but ruthless for an infection.

Soon there will take place the model presentation in school No. 14 in Yakutsk.

in the future we are going to carry out upgrade of the robot. And further we will equip with devices of school and the place of mass use: cafe, theaters, shops", – the resident of AITs told.
