2020: Testing on the streets of Moscow

The first self-driving cars Sber Automotive Technologies went to the streets Moscow for tests in the winter metropolis: drones will be tested with high humidity, negative temperature, poor visibility and a difficult road situation. This was Sber announced TAdviser on December 22, 2020.

As noted, Sber unmanned vehicles passed preliminary tests and received all the necessary permits for driving on public roads.

By the end of 2020, SberAvTot expects to bring the number of its drones to ten. At the same time, their number is expected to continue to grow in 2021.

You can find out the Sber cars by the characteristic graphics on the body and the sign "A" on the trunk door. Drivers will be driving drones in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.

In unmanned vehicles, an on-board computer of its own design is installed, which uses 2GIS cartography, another Sber ecosystem company.

SberAvTot is a Sber division created in April 2020. In seven months, several cycles of research and design were carried out, which made it possible to build the first series of their own unmanned vehicles.
