2019: Agreement with Russia on production of robots surgeons

On July 17, 2019 it became known that the Sina Surgery robot surgeon developed by the Iranian startup of Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators will be manufactured also in Russia.

The robot surgeon will be able to make thorax, abdominal cavity operations, he will be controlled living doctors-surgeons remotely. According to developers, the robot will be able to make cuts during transaction by 10 times more precisely than the living surgeon. The robot will consist of two components: from the console using which the surgeon will be able to operate the vehicle, and the device capable to make transactions, being at the patient's bed.

As the vice president of Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators Alireza Mirbagheri, the robot surgeon capable to perform operations both on a breast, and on an abdominal cavity told, for the first time developed in the USA.

After the presentation of the Iranian development of a stock of the American company which created the first robot surgeon dropped by 20%, told Alireza Mirbageri, the vice president of Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators

According to him, development of the robot surgeon in Iran is not completed yet.

So far experiments only on animals were conducted, and they everything were recognized successful for 100%. In a year it is going to begin to perform operations with the help of the robot in public, noted Alireza Mirbageri, the vice president of Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators

He paid attention that deliveries of the robot surgeon are going to be conducted to Europe, China and Russia.

"The cost of the robot surgeon from Iran will be twice lower, than the American analog, added Alireza Mirbageri, the vice president of Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators

Answering a question who will bear responsibility in case of an error of the robot, Alireza Mirbageri noted that the doctors-surgeons managing it.

There has to be the same principle, as well as at sales of normal cars. In case of road accident the fault is born not by the car dealer, but the driver because of whose error there was an accident, concluded Alireza Mirbageri, the vice president of Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators[1]
