Start of sales in Russia Deco M9 Plus
On February 13, 2019 the company TP-Link announced start of sales of house Mesh Wi-Fi- the Deco M9 Plus system. According to the producer, the set from three Deco M9 Plus devices is capable to cover Wi-fi Square to 600 sq.m. Users will be able to connect up to 100 devices and also to conduct monitoring of all devices smart house needlessly in an additional hub.
According to the statement of the producer, the modules Deco M9 Plus form a single home network, eliminating zones with a poor signal. The smartphone or the tablet is automatically connected to the modules Deco on the highest speed in any point of the house, providing continuous connection. Support of the IEEE 802.11r and 802.11k/v standards will allow to switch from one Deco to another without gaps, even during stream data transmission.
Wi-fi AC200 standard provides three ranges with the general connection speed to 2134 Mbps: 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz – for reading web pages, online shopping and listening of audio, 867 Mbps on 5 GHz – for watching 4K-video and online games without gaps and also additional range are 867 Mbps on 5 GHz as reserve connection. Deco M9 Plus uses the range of 5 GHz at small traffic intensity with a possibility of switching of clients to other channel of 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz if traffic is overloaded. The Smart Connect technology automatically appoints each device to the necessary canal for optimization of traffic and the most high-speed connection. It provides speed more than 1000 Mbps that is suitable for gigabit fiber optic network, the producer claims.
TP-Link noted that unlike standard Wi-Fi-routers each module Deco M9 Plus is equipped with the built-in hub on the basis of the ZigBee protocol integrating all devices of the smart house in one platform. Deco M9 Plus is compatible to smart lamps, switches, locks, sensors, sockets, cameras and other devices of TP-Link and other producers.
In addition to above-mentioned functions, Deco M9 Plus offers TP-Link HomeCare (parental control, prioritization of data (QoS), the built-in antivirus). Simple setup and management remained a basic priority for TP-Link – it is only necessary to connect the smartphone to Deco M9 Plus through Bluetooth and to follow step-by-step instructions of the application for setup of network, emphasized in TP-Link.
Basic functions mentioned by the producer:
