2026: 50,000 cars sold in half a year

The Russian brand TENET, created as part of the long-term strategic partnership between AGR holding and DEFETOO, has reached a significant milestone of 50,000 cars sold in the first six months of its presence on the market. The brand announced this on March 5, 2026.

The anniversary was TENET T7 in the "Active" configuration with an intelligent four-wheel drive system and six driving modes.

The TENET range is represented by three SUV class TENET T4, T7 and T8 vehicles, allowing the brand to cover key market segments. The production of the full cycle of TENET cars is organized taking into account Russian climatic and road conditions. All models are already equipped with a winter package in the basic version, the body undergoes additional treatment with wax compositions, and reinforced anti-corrosion, anti-noise and anti-gravel coatings provide durability and resistance to external influences.

The TENET dealer network covers the territory from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin and has 211 sales and service centers as of March 2026. The total technical support period for TENET vehicles is 5 years or 150,000 km. The package includes 3 years of factory warranty and 2 years of additional technical support.

According to the results of the first two months of 2026, two TENET models are included in the SUV TOP-3 of bestsellers of the Russian market (according to Avtostat). The TENET T7 crossover became the leader in sales in this segment, and the TENET T4 urban crossover took third position. Our cars are created taking into account the peculiarities of the Russian market, initially take into account the requirements of customers in terms of the necessary set of equipment and preparedness for long-term operation. Moreover, we were able to ensure a high level of quality of TENET models through local production. We continue to prepare for the expansion of the model range, and already in the first half of 2026, as promised, we will offer new models and modifications to the Russian consumer, which will allow us to strengthen our leading position in the market, - said Ilya Perminov, Operating Director of the TENET brand.

322 industrial robots for production deployed at Tenet automobile plant in Kaluga

In November 2025, a full-scale production of crossovers of the new Russian brand Tenet is carried out at the AGR Automotive Group plant in Kaluga. The process involves 332 industrial robots, which are mainly developed by Fanuc and Yaskawa. Read more here.

Start-up of car production

At the former Volkswagen plant in the Kaluga region, AGR Holding will launch a serial assembly of the first model of the new Tenet brand - it will be a compact crossover. Under this brand, they plan to produce four crossovers: a subcompact, two C-SUVs and one D-class crossover. This was announced in June 2025 by the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha. According to him, all employees who left the ex-Volkswagen plant due to the suspension of the activities of a foreign company returned to work^[1]
